Yeah I learnt about them after doing a few banking runs. The meat recharges the whistle which is amazing. I also take a chisel with me to make antlers into bolts. Adds a little time but can make decent GP if you need gp.

Dude literally got both quetzal whistle blueprints at the same time in the first sack - insane. Took me 100 rumours to get the enhanced one and that's only because its a guaranteed drop on your 100th sack if you haven't received it

If you wear a bone crusher necklace while doing antelopes, it keeps the bones from being in the pile of loot. Small but nice to not have them in the pile if you’re collecting everything else.
Big brain, i assume it works with normal bone crusher?
There's also a drop rl plugin that makes it so all the same item only have 1 name and then a x amount next to it for multi of that item its awesome
If you're doing lots of hunter I'd suggest bringing your bonecrusher. It works for hunter creatures and helps reduce inventory management while hunting.

If you don't like certain tasks you use the lower task levels to hold that task. For example if you got a pyre fox task on the expert task and you go to the master, you'll never be given the pyre fox task.

If you had brought a chisel, you also could have fletched the antelope horns into bolts. Saving even more inventory space. Bonecrusher can autobury the bones you get from hunter creatures.
If you wanted to be extra cheeky, you could have also brought a tackle box to store the nets you need for salamanders and just carry the ropes.
And you can also psudeo-block rumors you don't like. You can't get assigned anything another Hunter wants to assign you. The tasks they give sticks until you complete it for them. A lot of people hate pyre foxes, so you can have a lower tier hunter (Adept would be the best if doing master) "hold" the pyre fox assignment. Gotta look at the Wiki for which assignments are given by who and find an overlap.

oddly enough i was only doing these for pet and got pet at 51 rumours doing experts, though now conflicted if i do more as rumours are most fun way to train hunter i think to point doesnt feel like bore for me.
I made bank doing this. I green logged yesterday which was a super fun thing to go for. The meat/ fur sacks helped make a lot more gp. The antlers were going for 9k/6k at the beginning and I sold quetzal feeds at up to 200k and a bulk of mine were over 100k. I was sometimes going to the ge after opening a loot just to pop it in there. The moths do give loot, if you have a jar, but not really worth the hassle. I really enjoyed this and I got 3.3m xp going for my green log. Also the new meats are cool and I tried cooking some of them after 50 rumors when the raw to cooked margins were higher.

items that will definitely help you doing rumours:
- bonecrusher (necklace) to purge all useless bones from inventory
- log / forestry basket
- unequip your gloves for falconry
- meat & fur sack obviously
- you can use the hunter's spear as a teasing stick (but it's currently bugged at chinchompas)

by the way huntsman kit not being a cape slot is absolutely criminal
Saw in a Mudkip video if you have the ability to barehand catch something it’s the same speed/rate as magic butterfly net. So since you’re maxed it’s never worth bringing a net out with you. Only beneficial for things you have the level to catch with a net but don’t have the level to barehand
I like them, but I did get stuck on razerbacked kebbits for roughly an hour. That wasn't fun.
That quetzal feed was 150k each+ on first day
if you use a lit torch on pyre fox pit falls it helps out alot
you can make a block list, it is really important to make one

omg ty so much for this vid, i got a rare red chinchompa task my first one, and because i couldn't find any red chins in the whole valamore i said fk this and rage quit until runelite adds a plugin with shiny blue arrow, but now i can continue :D

Absolute legend this makes hunter actually a pretty sweet skill to train now instead of just passively doing Birdhouse runs.
The pyre fox rumor took me 2 and a half hours. A buddy had his dark kebbit rumor take almost 3 hours. They could use a little tuning..
I got a razorback kebbit task and i didnt realize i was hunting common kebbits for 4 and a half hours... theyre basically right beaide eachother.

87 masters only missing the boots & kit. Blocking pyre foxes and sunlight antelopes was huge for my sanity

If you get rumors from other masters and don’t complete them apparently it blocks them

Pyre foxes easily the worst. Red salamanders are usually pretty quick. Luckily i locked the foxes to an expert hunter task and never saw them again.
