Thanks Steve. Yes a very smart combine and with all the rain we’ve had that short stemmed crop has probably been a bonus! Cheers, David

Good evening David and for once, I am quick off the mark. What a great gentle video of that very tidy and compact NH TC5060 (Although you had a finger slip in the title as TX, but correct in the description is TC). Its basic shape still reminds me of the old NH Clayton 135 we had, although no cab or powered controls and that old and very noisy Thames Trader Ford engine. The TC5060 was fair making its way though the crop and making what looked like a good job and once again being family owned and cared for shines through. It must have been one of the last ones made as I think that was the last year of making that model, but I may be corrected. Yes these round bales just seem to take off with no care for where they end up, how inconsiderate😂, but no match for the Kramer KL.3S.8T telehandler. Hope your well and as always, thanks for the video. Cheers, Fraser.

And a very good evening to you Fraser. You certainly are sharp off the mark tonight, first out of the starting blocks! Ah yes a nice combine and I’ve just corrected the title description (I’ll blame my long day at work!) and your right it is very similar to those classic NH Clayson models (a 135 quite a formidable machine back in the day and those Thames Trader engines turned up in a lot of Ford based agricultural machines, not least County tractors) but this one will certainly be a bit more pleasant to operate on a long day! Yes nice and steady and above all else no breakdowns which means the family keeps the maintenance of their machines up to scratch! Now that’s a coincidence about the last year of manufacture as there are quite a few TC5060s in the area so local dealer Lloyds salesmen must have been on the ball. Ah yes round bales can certainly have a mind of the own (square ones funnily enough don’t roll) but the cavalry in the shape of the Kramer came to the rescue! I’m well Fraser, end of the week for me tomorrow so looking forward to the weekend off. Take care my friend and as always great to hear from you. Cheers, David.

@@davidwinthrop7077 Just wait David, and in a few years you can use my universal excuse for mistakes which is, 'it must be my age' 😂. All kidding aside, with your long work days, I don't know how you manage to find the time for filming and editing, which I know both take a lot of time and effort, which I for one, am very appreciative of. Enjoy your weekend off. Cheers, Fraser.

Ha that’s a good excuse Fraser and one I think we’ve all come up with more often than once! Yes they are long work days but getting out into the fields watching the machinery, talking to the owners and filming and taking photos of the marvellous equipment and breathing in the fresh air is my escape from the everyday routine of work. Yes the editing takes time but I get a great pleasure and sense of achievement when people such as yourself appreciate the effort enjoy the end results and post your thoughts in the comments section. Also I think ‘well I’ve captured a moment in time’ that may never be repeated but it’s there an archived hopefully for ever or at least as long as I’m here anyways! Yes looking forward to the weekend Fraser, no farm visits this weekend but I’m sure I’ll find plenty to do! Cheers, David.
