Both being comedians it is an easy mistake to make, but honestly they are 2 entirely different people (and you are right that the No Voice Guy genuinely Cannot Talk - and still can't as far as I know)
Watched a Corrie episode from 13th October 2014. Rob explicitly says he doesn't have a kid. Also he wasn't even a bad guy till he killed Tina but now they're gonna go with "EVIL ROB ABANDONDED HIS SON" 🙄
