“Frick your seasons I wear what I want” I say this all the time nothing should go out of fashion. It’s because of this mindset in the fashion industry we still haven’t got parasols and are burning like vampires in the summer. All we can find in shops is the same churned out outfits that every other shop sells. Unique outfits are considered weird now.
Oh my! Don't get me started on parasols... why is it so weird to want to take care of your skin... I don't get it.

And yes to slow fashion! It can even be cheaper in the long run (not with growing kids though, I guess). I bought winter boots for about €160 that lasted me five years, while a friend buys new ones every year for €50-70 and complains about quality...
Wear what you like, not what internet/magazines/people tell you to wear.
So true! I have clothes that my mom got when she was 15 years old that are still very wearable and total classics. I also rather pay more for quality than less for quantity.

Oh no! it can be quite confusing, but it's not that hard. I have a playlist on the basic pattern sloper that you can manipulate to make anything you want, so if you are interested in pattern making, you could check that one out. It's a lot of work in the beginning but that sloper is your forever template and you can really create anything with it 😁

I like option five, but it could use a yoke to drop waist 2 inches down. would look less like a maternity dress, although nothing wrong with the maternity vibe
Yes! I kinda got that vibe too, but the problem is that I kinda have a short torso with a very small waist and wide hip bones, so if I elongate the yoke too much, it lands on my hips and travels upwards, making everything look very frumpy, so I either have to commit to a shorter yoke with a natural waist line, or really drop it to the low hip so it stays in place 😂 It's kinda odd, but I got used to it, even the "when is the baby due" comments that come along with it lol

@@Seamstressed people tend to hide their motives and shit by acting shady like that. I’m not sure if she thought you’d pay attention. It’s a manipulative game. You make something super cool and you improve on a product and the original creator likes what they see and wants it for their own self, acts like they never saw your creation by ghosting/blocking you and then they recreate it to act like it was their own idea. I really love your rendition on the strawberry dress for SURE! I hate the puffy sleeves from the original as well. If you had a shop I’d buy from you 💯 people in Japan customize brand name clothing ALL the time and sell it . I’m following you for more ❤️
