Anyone knows how you are supposed to program these? A friend of mine gave me a pair of these, cuz he bought some new ones, but the channels say things like, Kitchen and stuff and I wanted to change all that stuff. Also, the pair work well with each other, but not with other radios with the same frequency, any ideas why? could it be because of the antena? or because I have to reprogram it to communicate with others?
Hi, do you guys know how to, in the SL300 CPS, to enable the channel alias tag to display on RX? I can't seems to find it and so I don't know who's talking because it doesn't show the RX alias tag. Thanks in advance!
Hi Scott - We recommend working with one of our radio technicians to solve this programming question. I wish we could tell you it's a simple checkbox to check but it's not the case as it will require many different variables for this type of programming. If you are located in one of our service regions you can visit one of our offices and work through the details of how exactly you would like it to function. You can find our offices here: www.callmc.com/our-locations/ . If you are outside of this service footprint we would recommend that you contact our inside sales team who can discuss either remote programming options or shipping details for you to send in your radio for programming. You can reach this team at: sales@callmc.com.
That's pretty good for 3w!
Why did the vid stop? What’s the max range on these please?
Hi, do u need a motorola programming lead or will any micro usb lead work with the CPS software?
That's excellent tbvh

You need the specific Motorola CPS and program cable

What is the optimum range in miles
Does this radio have a scan feature?
UHF or VHF?
This is important ! And if it was Analog or DMR... Whatever it is, I'm so far impressed. I'd have liked to have seen another mile.
@@baronedipiemonte3990 It can do both analogue and DMR but in the video it’s definitely DMR.
The radio he was using was the UHF one, as the antenna wasn't fully round
Good..
So.... Do these need programming? Or I can just straight out use them? Using it for road trips.
Programming required using Motorolas overpriced CPS software and a proprietary programming cable.
The radio come with a default freq. In order to make any changes you will need to use Motorola CPS and a USB with to micro-usb.
