@@g9ez567 I feel like the director who made, "The Witch" would either be a great contender to remake this one OR he's already seen it, 'cuz 'The Witch' is VERY reminiscent of this film.
Holy crap this movie looks like some kinda precursor to the 1984 Halloween episode of Punky Brewster lol. The punky brewster episode had native Americans and faces in rocks and it totally traumatized me as a child!
This is one of the ones that has been crying out for a proper Blu-Ray release. I keep hoping the either Scream Factory or Vinegar Syndrome will be able to rescue it...
One of the very first VHS tapes we hired way bavk in 1980s was "the Manatou" - Which was based on American indian souls living in trees ? This is a similar idea
@@stephenbirks6458 The Manitou is based on the Graham Masterton book. It also has a couple sequels (the books that is). I've seen both movies a number of times and I don't think they're at all similar. If you liked the Manitou, the books are worth checking out. I think a couple of the sequels are better than the first one.
The Trailer 💀 is Mind-blowing, how could I have missed out on this 80s hidden Gem 💎 😳
THIS NEEDS A DVD RELEASE. So underrated.
Amazon my friend. I'm about to order the Blu Ray

Gem of a horor flick that fairly decent reviews when it came out. Good story. Very original,

Josh Robert Thompson (the voice of Geoff Peterson) just recommended this movie in his live stream. Looks pretty creepy.
