2ND - Scott, we all watched as you forced your way thru that splicey splice splicestress... YOU EARNED the right to drive the HELL out of that car!! ENJOY IT! Your way beyond the "Day 712, drilling 2 million spotwelds, where's the fair-weather, taking off the trim friends now??!".

Hi Scott. It’s a beaut how you filmed it as you drove it out. Just a testament of your quality of skill and passion. Enjoy all of your cars you keep alive. Especially the 60. Just an awesome save👍🏻. Thanks for sharing.

To me, the 60 Fury will always be considered one of the greatest accomplishments I've ever seen. As a builder myself, I know how much work you put into that car, and regular people have no idea the amount of physical labor, time, and sheer mental determination it takes to bring a car like that back from the brink. Every time I see you driving it now it brings a smile to my face just knowing the satisfaction you have to feel knowing you truly saved it.

I agree, since the vast majority of people simply write a check and never get to appreciate the greatest part of the hobby. When you bring a car back from the grave and go for that first ride, it's an incredible feeling that cannot be purchased.

No one would ever believe how this Beautiful Fury came to be had not Scott shared his journey with us. It still amazes me to this day! There was so much effort ,talent, and patience poured into this project! She is truly a Trophy to Scott's abilities and experience. I hope he will be able to keep and cherish her for long after he has had to hang up his tools and just enjoy the fruits of his endeavors! This car is an inspiration to everyone just what one can achieve by just being patient and persistent. We all have bad periods in our lives with setbacks and bottlenecks. Just remember to keep the faith and with time we all can get back to the task at hand and achieve a result we each can be proud of. Thank You Scott for sharing! 🙂

You should be proud of that car Scott! It's so space-age and unique. Just jaw-dropping. I applaud you for keeping the car quiet. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than an elegant '50's-early '60's car with the 2 chrome pipes out the back and sounding like a boats outboard motor. Save that for the sports cars.

I remember the first time I saw a 1960 Fury in a movie and I said: WOW those fins!
Actually the rest of the design is a bit confusing, but still very cool. I love all the Furies from 57 to 61. The 61 is now well known but has a very fascinating and unique design. I really hope you will have a running and driving 61 soon.
Do not make the mistake I did. Kind out of necessity I used my 63 Belair, (actually my very favourite car our family owned since 1966) as a kind of daily beater. I do not even have a car port in front of my house and months of daily rain took their toll and now the car starts rusting in places that I could keep rustfree for fourty years. And it breaks my heart. I painted it snow white in 83 and the tiniest rusty spot is jumping into the eyes.

I came to this channel perhaps 5 years ago, and one of the first comments I remember making was that you should cast from resin a new clear steering wheel rim with colorful flecks of metal inside, to mimic the original, which we also had in our 1961 Belvedere wagon. Little did I realize that you were crazy enough to sew an interior for the Fury and that this is the same kind of insanity that would take my suggestion. I think it would be unique among TH-cam car channels to see this process done, and I know you have the kind of madness to do it well. Looking forward to it!

    *Agent 900!*
A rare in-car appearance by that agent, only to be topped by some of that patented Scott *field cinematography*
style that is quintessential CWM, at least to me (if you've watched the really early videos on this channel, you know
    what I'm referring to here).
Did anyone else have little mini-flashbacks when Scott was slowly backing the car out of storage?
"There's that trim he spent so much time on." "Remember when he rebuilt that entire section out of sheet metal?"
The frame-on vs. unibody comparison is rather stark when done back-to-back. Going to be enjoyable!

I love this car! I vote for one of your mid-week episodes you take Tom for a drive in the country and you can tell us about Tom and his story.

Every minute of time, every bead of sweat that went into this stunning Fury is plainly evident. I doubt she looked so good coming off the assembly line. Jaw dropping!

I lost a car buddy to covid about a year and a half ago. He was a used car guy who repaired most everything himself and would not sell a car he wasn't proud of. Problem was, he'd never spend the money on a lift. For many years I gave him hell over what he was doing to his 60 something body, but he was quite stubborn. Just about the time covid was becoming an known issue, he started having pretty bad back issues and allllways complained about his knees killing him. The 5 or more years before he died, he used a old boat cushion/life saver to kneel on. Said it helped, but he'd often forget it and say it was just gonna take a second... Please, do yourself the biggest favor of your life and buy and install a lift. Raise the roof. Put up a new building. Do whatever it takes, but do not end up like my buddy or myself. I am fused from the middle of my back to S1. I watch you and other car channels to feel alive as I cannot do any car work myself anymore and I am only 61. BUY A LIFT!!!!!

I’m afraid that Scott has been out beating the flames out too, I believe that Laura’s Québécois log cabin project was at high risk. Thankfully they were successful this time.

It's good to see you driving the '60 Scott. Looking forward to the F-150 feature as well.
I'll always remember Agent 900's epic performance in the "How to: easy rust repair" video.
Nary a word spoken, but his non-plussed look and casual smoking carried the scene. With able accompaniment from Justin of course.
