Betul. Kalo saya tinggal Di China mungkin pada akhirnya tidak jadi beli mobil, Karena terlalu Banyak pilihan Dan terlalu sering muncul model baru dengan harga Yang kompetitif sehingga bikin semakin bingung 🥴😢😅
You did not showcase it's best feature: auto valet parking. It is very useful here in Beijing in huge 3000-spot parking lots that you can leave the car and let it valet park itself. It can also identify and park on the side road with no formal marking, another nice feature in crowded urban places. Overall not as flashy as SU7 but way more practical and offers more than the Seal
@@Wheelsboy others can only do auto parking after you see and select the site, instead automatically driving and finding unoccupied sites and parking in itself.
Love your energetic and informed commentary on Chinese cars! One bit of feedback: you mention buttons and controls that are hard to see while while wearing tinted sunglasses -- that may be much of the issue.
Huawei's car adventures are a bit confusing to me with how the Luxeed S7 and the Stelato S9 looking almost completely identical with only very minor differences, yet the first is in collaboration with Chery while the second is in collaboration with BAIC.
Thanks for sharing. We don't have an ev car industry in the UK. We have a green pledge regarding ev cars thats now put back 5 years. This can easily be addressed by China's evs, but we put excessive charges on their cars. Great move!
For some reason we still back European manufacturers at the expense of Chinese manufacturers, given we left the union I don't see why we'd do that but it is what it is.
Have to say: Looks really like one of the EQS models of Mercedes 😅But one other thing: LOVE YOUR REVIEWS of the cars! Would be so happy to have some of the cars here in Germany 🇩🇪
Looks like the smartphone makers' EV cars battle began with Xiaomi and Huawei. :) For me front reminds me of a Porsche Tycan and the back and side are Mercedes Benz EQE ;) Great video
I found it funny that you were complaining about not see that buttons on the steering wheel and rear door while wearing sunglasses. 😂Never less, I enjoy your delivery of reviews. 👍
Totally fair point, but if I can't see the buttons in your car when wearing sunglasses (which is pretty common last time I checked), then I still consider that a design flaw.
I'm just in envy of all the good looking EV sedans they have not just in China but other places as well, all because for one US don't expect China vehicles, and two the US numbers don't support that EV sedans will or can sell well here. Basically stuck in SUVs and trucks.
I think you're using a Sony A7iv due to the jello effect from interior shakes.😁 One of the most eye-pleasing, informative, and entertaining car reviewers! Keep up the great work.
the premium went into the length or size of the car. this is Model S class. Conclusion is correct though, it does not stand out because there are already couple of existing EVs with similar price, size, features.
sat in this, but not driven it. lots of bad interior decisions, such as the very distant dashboard screen and the unsupportive seats that are like a posh office chair. however, the exterior looks lovely.
Constructive criticism: I think at this level of the high amount of BEV products in China, it would be really useful for western to talk about real range and charging power (kW). Thanks so much :) Greetings from Barcelona !
Thank you for the constructive comment! The truth of the matter is that doing real world range testing in an accurate and consistent manner requires a great deal of time, and we simply cannot fit it into the limited time that we have with each car. The same goes for providing real charging power, as it strongly depends on the charger that you use. Not all manufacturers provide a peak charging power, so it's not always possible to include that information either. I would rather provide no information than misleading or inaccurate information.
With this, we have reached the ideal condition of a car, but the annoying and ugly thing that distorts the design and appearance of any car especially an electric car, which is the front vehicle number plate. Yes, a statutory legal topic, but we really want to push this topic forward to remove it (like some united states of America). Great review.
OMG. I couldn't imagine you didn't know how to open the trunk... but not your fault tho. The rear trunk opening button is very well designed to look hidden. If you push the "D" letter in the LUXEED on the trunk, you will be able to open it. : )
Just curious about where the passenger side airbag is located if the glove box is on top of the dash???? Does this have side curtain airbags or rear passenger airbags????
Most cars don't have top load gloves boxes now because that's where the passenger airbag lives. The upper dash looks too far away for an effective airbag.
It makes a lot of sense to partner with Huawei because they must always be the best and cannot be not perfect in the domestic market. You know what I meant.
Thank you for offering me the opportunity to clarify! The operating system is called 鸿蒙 Hongmeng in Chinese, but Harmony in English, so this does use the Harmony 4 OS.
Nothing about this car exites me. Nothing. That goes for the absolute majority of the latest chinese EVs too, btw. Screens, powerful chargers, 0-100 in a zippy, legroom, etc. will never be exiting, unique or engaging.
Oh the joy of what to expect to ride in a Chinese car. The TOFU DREG will be there as soon as the door of the car door is opened. The greet of TOFU DREG comes as a surprise! The wheels might come off at 60 mph, or the steering wheel just snaps off! Yes , the side panels of Your new TOFU DREG start rattling and when a glance in the rear view mirror the car behind just smacked those panels that came off. Do not be deceived by the new car smell, it might be a garlic clove stuck in the air vents. The Victory March will always be on the radio for some comfort.
Why do so many of these Chinese brands try to look like Mercedes or Porsche? Why not do your own thing? Say what you will about BYD, but at least they have their own design language.
This so-called car reviewer guy doesn't know about Chinese culture and traditional standard, he takes inspiration from the US government, which is why he always complains about Chinese cars and degrade them to show the world negatives of Chinese automobiles. It's a well thought campaign against Chinese cars.
Wrong. A car reviewer should talk about the good and the bad. And that's what he has been doing for years. Thanks to him, I highly regard the Chinese auto industry. That wouldn't be the case if it were all negative. If you only want to hear about the positives, you can just talk to a salesperson.
If you're a Chinese car customer there's so many models now it takes at least a month to decide which one to get
Betul. Kalo saya tinggal Di China mungkin pada akhirnya tidak jadi beli mobil, Karena terlalu Banyak pilihan Dan terlalu sering muncul model baru dengan harga Yang kompetitif sehingga bikin semakin bingung 🥴😢😅
By that time better ones might have already come out, making your choice even harder lol
Or maybe more. Over a hundred new EVs were presented at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. That's a lot of choice.
Only A month to decide? Naaah
And they are all sedans although no one drives sedans any more
The physical button for the boot is inside the D in Luxeed
Inside the D sounds painfull

Is there anything particularly special about it's auto valet parking feature? Other brands seem to offer the same thing.
@@Wheelsboy others can only do auto parking after you see and select the site, instead automatically driving and finding unoccupied sites and parking in itself.

Excellent car with hi-tech features, i'd love to see a fridge at the front side

Huawei ADS 2.0 is the best right now by a good mile - zero competition.
Just curious about where the passenger side airbag is located if the glove box is on top of the dash???? Does this have side curtain airbags or rear passenger airbags????
It will need to have a passenger airbag. It can be under the Storage and the whole glove box get blown off to the front while deploying the air bag.

Most cars don't have top load gloves boxes now because that's where the passenger airbag lives.

Can you review the new BYD Qin L and Seal 06?
