This was a very intense movie. Kept me on the edge of my seat. So sad so many people had to die this way and for such hateful and evil reasons.

I still remember that night.. i with my family were on a trip to mumbai.. we were actually from delhi.. at around 9:15pm we had dinner in leopold cafe and went to gateway of india just to explore.. and we saw tht live horrific incident in taj.. i was jst 12 that time..
Ive worked at the oberoi and know the place inside out. I quit long before these terror strikes., but I often think about how I would've handled this situation. For starters I would've turned out the lights. Next I would've turned off the elevators. Next I would've barricaded the staircase using trolleys and other furniture. One thing im dead sure of is that I would'nt have run. Im sure there were many unsung heroes that day about whom we will never hear or know.

Saw this as an ad and actually watched it to completion. This looks really cool with the main draw being that the focus is the native staff member(s) in the luxury hotel rather than the rich white family staying there. Cant remember the last time i saw a movie with this angle and i hope i get the chance to see it in the future

India has already a version of this story called "The attack of 26/11". The movie itself was great- based on true events - it showed how the city of Mumbai had four simultaneous attacks happening (at the same time) at the Taj(an Indian landmark), train station, a famous club and also an attempt at a hospital. The goal of these terrorists was to weaken the Indian spirit by targeting four common locations that its citizens may visit. The movie itself is legendary. Although I wasn't in India during the event, the previous movie did a GREAT job of explaining the situation. Hope this movie just doesn't focus on Taj too much and explains the overall situation.

back in1985 to 1986. i once stayed in Taj hotel for almost a year, room no 542 in old Taj. we use to order club sandwich almost every night.

watching this took me back to the same place i remember almost 11yeears ago, It's one momnet I never want to look back to and even now I have that chill pass through my body just like it happening now..very emotional for me in person.

I you watch Kaun Banega Kroreapati, there was an episode in this very season where a brave army officer was invited on the show in the 'Karmaveer' episode. I don't remember his name, but his story and experience about the whole incident was shocking and also horrific. That lion hearted officer also lost his ear in that attack. Salute to our army officers!
