The 717005 engine is exquisitely quiet. Its' ghostly skull and eerie stealth conjure up images of a phantom. Imagine such a spectre, emerging from a thick, grey fog.
Thanks for the video, brings back many memories as I was raised nearby and, as a child, used to watch Deltic-hauled expresses race through Hornsey. Much has changed there recently, especially with the depot.
If you mean the train reporting number, I use a site called realtimetrains.co.uk The advanced search facility lets you look at a specific location and see all traffic. Historic data is only available for a week. Planned future traffic, per the working timetable, is available for several weeks in advance. You can also see real time track diagrams on sites like traksy.uk
It certainly is a problem due to the recent ban on the use of Glyphosate used for weed control on the railways. This is a current problem across Europe. Traces were found in foodstuffs making it a risk to humans as well as pollinating insects and bees. ec.europa.eu/food/plant/pesticides/glyphosate_en

Ah gawd. That horrid PSA called
killing time was filmed here in the 90s.
Hornsey looks like an overgrown garden thanks to Network Rail’s Lineside Neglect campaign. It’s appalling.
