_I was one of those people who found out about this song through Mawaru, and its been nearly two years since that. At this point finding this song has introduced me to all that Ed Banger Records has to offer, and opened up the door to bloghouse-era music that I otherwise might have gone my whole life not knowing shit about. I love this kind of music now, and I'm so glad that some silly little video showed me the way to some of the best listening experiences of my life._
Put it this way, that whole era from 2005-2010, was a breakthrough in culture and music that lead onto everything that followed the next decade, and the French camps were a major force in that. It inspired everyone from Kanye West to Skrillex. Before that we was stuck in a Hip Pop (pop not hop) phase and alot of other underground club culture was pretty dead, and music was nothing like this, it was pretty straight. All this stuff was mind blowing at the time. They even inspired the production techniques and overall loud and hitting sound we have today. Everyone wanted to know how to make it as loud and banging as Justice for example.
This track, Justice's track, Mr. Flash's track, Breakbot's track and Boston Bun's tracks are the big highlights on X. This is easily my favorite out of those selections. Makes me so happy.
@@blackkun2607 this song is a remix of pepper steak? I don't think so. They have some similarities but I think they're independent from tleach other, only connected by siIva's mashup.
Honestly, Ed Rec, Vol. X was kinda boring. This track was a VERY notable exception. It's like Oizo's sound is slowly but surely being perfected every year. It's hard and yet chill. Tonally rich and yet simple at the same time. So good.
I really believe it's simply different. To many time's artist fallow the money. If you work on music as an art, a self expression towards oneself than you too will be good at music.
There's always that one Oizo track you never heard all the way and then you realize it bangs
There’s always that one Oizo track. Period.
@@Eddsuckshe has like 50 of them
Eh
based on a true story
Not only did he make the best track on the album, but also the best intro of any collaboration.

@@humannfinn7117 dude what about modjo,daft punk,dj mehdi ?
Haven't tried the others. But daft punk feels like a kid version of justice for me. Never was a big fan growing up either.
@@humannfinn7117 I am a fan of justice too , but daft punk got their own touch!
