You know, Beau, I read a lot of fairy tales growing up. And when you read that many you begin to notice certain story tropes that show up repeatedly. When you started talking about Republicans wanting to deport people who broke windows and illegally entered a building, I thought about a fairytale trope that usually shows up near the end of the tale, where the big baddie is confronted by the hero and asked, "if I were to find someone who did [exactly the terrible thing the villain has done], what would be the proper punishment for this person?" Then the villain is allowed to run his or her mouth, coming up with the most brutal punishment possible (one of them is to drive a whole bunch of nails into a barrel so that the sharp ends are sticking into the middle, then put the offender into the barrel, seal it up and roll it down the street) and then of course that specific poetic justice is bestowed upon the baddie. Republicans really need to read more fairy tales. Not the decaf Disney adaptations, either. But they have traditionally been bad at figuring out who the villain really is.
The problem is that they identify with the villain. That's why they don't want history taught...they're all on the wrong side. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.

Good idea! It also may help other lesser known commentators/content creators. 💜✊
Fewer fighter jets in the airspace over Denmark? Fine with me, even though I spent several years living in air force housing in Nebraska that was deserted enough to move non-air force people in. Jets overhead all the time, you get used to it, but it’s been a while. Now army trucks up and down the road in front of our house here…NATO.
Anne Hathaway is making a choice that can be difficult to sustain. Thank you, Anne, and everyone else who does the work. Remember that you can decide for yourself. ❤
Lol at Colombia the COUNTRY
lost it on that one. and on Darth Dozer 😂
We've had two Border Collies who "failed" their working dog training. What it was is that they were too affectionate. My current girl insists on being a 50 lb. lap dog but is so smart it's more like having a toddler to play games with who's super protective of me.
Good morning from Vancouver Island!
Good morning from Texas.
Yes, Ms Hathaway, good use of platform. And congrats.
Good morning everybody!
The repug's little silly about breaking windows and traitors has me on my ass, on the floor... still laughing hysterically. Thank you, I needed that. And.. talk about double-think, this is soooo fracking bizarre!
Good morning, Beau's internet people.
May the Forth be with You. (Had to use it once this day, or I'm not living up to my full nerd potential.)
Beau and team, excellent as always. I think irony isn't really dead,(and yes, that was hilarious) it seems more that the gqp is totally un-selfaware? Even their propaganda, like drumf delivering pizzas, was such an obvious joke, is half-assed. I think it shows their real contempt for the followers. 👍💙💙💙🥰✌
Breakfast 🥞 with Beau 🩷
The Medal of Freedom for Medgar Evers, is awesome. It's good to hear UM is progressing as far as the LGBTQ+ Community. I know you and the team already work your butts off, but those are some great story ideas near the end. Essecially the "Good News" one.
"I would like to think the world will not constantly be on fire."
What I love about you, Beau is your fundamentally optimistic nature. :)
Good morning all! 😊
Buenas Dias Tejas.
👋 mornin' hope you have a great day

May the farts be with you ....
You should do a 24/7 live stream, with multiple segments of interest, and at least one segment hosted, written, and directed by the horses.
What a world weirder and weirder.
We want to add a lot to your work load, Beau, because we trust you. And TRUSTABLE knowledge is difficult to find. You, MeidasTouch, Brian Tyler Cohen, Luke Beasley and a few others are trustable; others, not so much.
I'm repeatedly turned off by MeidasTouch's use of tabloid style headlines and I find BTC to be smug in a way I don't like.
I do recognize these are "me " problems and I'm glad for anyone getting the word out.
I like a lot of BTC's collaboration videos. Perhaps someone could recall the older man he usually discusses legal precedents with?
@@robertalexander-bk5zj And that's why it is a free country - you can watch anything you wish and NOBODY will please EVERYONE. 🤷♂. MeidasTouch is the fastest-growing news option in the WORLD. Seems most people disagree with you, LOL.
@@robertalexander-bk5zj As I heard recently, "As my grandfather used to say ... 'There’s something about that guy I don’t like about me.'"

MeidasTouch's use of click bait type headlines often deter me from watching. At the same time, I too, am glad for their coverage.
Just watched the tunnel link. Amazing story. How differently we treat 'brown' refugees vs European makes me want to cry. Btw, I subscribed to your channel about a year ago. Thank you.
Hello Everyone, regarding the tunnel video, here is the title: "Let's talk about NBC helping build a tunnel under the wall...."
Thanks!!
Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Many thanks!
Thanks!
👋 mornin' all
GSDs are amazing dogs. Growing up we had a GSD (Wesley) and a Belgium Malinois Akita mix named Smith. Both are giant pains in the ass until past their teenage years. I miss them dearly.
Baroness, used to take my keys or my wallet from my nightstand and hide it if she realized I was about to leave. Brilliant and a total pain 😆 🤣
I’m pretty sure you said “Medgar Evans”. Might make a difference for those googling him but it’s Medgar Evers.
Thank God for Beau, and I'm a non believer. Beau delivers common sense of which there is a drought in USA.
Good for Anne! Yesterday was my 6 year Soberversary.
Irony is on full display with the GOP. It has been for a number of years.
17:28 Remember Beau, we didn't start the fire. The world's been burning since the world's been turning.
I remember being heartbroken when Medgar Evers was killed, am reading Joy Reid's book about him and his wife, beautiful story. There is still a true lack of understanding and communication between the North and the South, change is so slow-----thank you, Beau.
Funny, I have seen China as an adversary since high school in the 1990s. Nothing they've done since has changed my summation in the nearly 30 years since 😂
I felt the same way about the Russian since the 1960. Too bad republicans forgot.
I was surprised that number wasn’t higher
@@stevenwoodward5923 the 2 countries on the top of my observed adversary list included Russia...they both have nukes, are of the authoritarian persuasion, have large populations, and can be unpredictable. The other country on my *unpredictable list was N. Korea-ruled by crackpots. Thank God they are mostly backwards!
Poor Beau, take questions end up with more work, lol! Thank you Beau, you do help keep my sanity in this chaotic time we are in. I've been reading 'The Nineties' by Chuck Klosterman and as a Kid born in 84 and saw this still happen from 6 years and up, it really helped me see the changes that were taking place as things changed in the world, also reminded me of names that I've long forgotten, such as Ross Perot. Now I am wondering who would have wont that election if it were held today with the chaos we experience.
My ex got my daughter a half husky and half German Shepard mix, the amount of times she has figured out latches to the gates is almost funny. From what I gather is Gwen takes herself for walks about a half hour before they go on their walk with my daughter, her dad, and their pitty. Oh and the amount of times they found her up on something high is amusing too. They will come home and she's just sleeping on top of the fridge like "what?"
Better ending than last week! So glad.
