Sharon - Grandchild #14 - Congratulations to your entire family. Being a grandmother is one of the best titles in the world. 🙏💕 I like these cards you made. The cards are very nice & the technique looks fun to make. Your cards are all lovely. Thank you for sharing this video & these great cards with us. Congratulations on #14 grand baby. 👏👏👏💕😙
Congratulations on your 14th grandbaby. My first Great grandchild was born on September 28th. Beautiful baby girl. I made these 3 cards today along with you. Turned out great. Thanks.
14th grandbaby!?? Wonderful. Congrats all around. 8-) Decorative boarders is what I'll use. Little bit off the top, sides, sounds like a haircut! LOL Love the cards!
I have made cards like this, and they are fun! I suggest gluing the strips to computer paper that won’t add bulk, or adhering them directly to the cardstock. Yours are very pretty.
Very very cute cards. Love your idea can’t wait to try it. Not sure which stamps and I’m gonna use. I’m a new stamper and congratulations on the new grandbaby to be.
I love my stamparatus. It is (in my opinion)much better than any of the others. Sadly, both of my magnets snapped the other day so I have to find new ones.
Ahhh, I thought these looked familiar. Sure enough they are the exact design Gina K created about a month ago. They look identical (except for the use of her own floral stamp)
@@TxStampinSharon I watch SO many card/craft video's. I see crafters often mention another crafter/artist/card maker as their inspiration, and then they will often even put a link to the original designer. I don't usually see exact copies of designs, *esp without saying where it came from (but again, it's usually 'inspired by', but with their own spin to it). I think it would be nice to give Gina credit, rather than imply that it's your own design. Just a thought 🤷♀
I can assure you that if I had thought of it I would have mentioned it. I just was so inspired by her idea that I wanted to try it. I did not say that it was my idea. I do appreciate your thoughts and will keep this in mind in the future. My cards will done a little differently since I added my strips to another cardstock layer. @@laurieclark859
Very pretty! Why not just put the colors on the card first then stamp? My mind gets confused easily that way I wouldn’t have to think so hard. Lol. Just saying think it would be easier? Love the colors and card very much! TFS 😀
I hope you give this a try! So many ways to make it your own!

Have fun!
Hello from foggy Southern California!
Hello there!
Love your cards! Very anxious to try them using the Dragon Garden largest stamp. I will be using my Stamparatus which will work perfect. Great idea!
Have fun! That will be great!

Because the paper strips have a dimension and you would not get a clean stamp at the transition between the colored cardstock and the white.
@@zotha5688 oh ok that makes sense. Thank you for setting me straight 😀 appreciate you!
Thank you for your response!
I’m glad you enjoyed the card and I hope you try it!
Hello from Ohio
Hello there! Thank you for watching!
Love the card layout and color pattern. I had a request for 5x7 cards and I think this will be helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Gina K did this technique 4 weeks ago.
Yes, I was inspired by her work
You should definitely give her credit, or at least tell everyone you were inspired by Gina.
When I made the cards I missed the step to glue pieces to colored piece before gluing to white.
It’s not necessary to do that. I just felt it was easy to line up and good way to use the card scraps. Hope you had fun!
What is the name of this technique?
It doesn't really have a name. I hope you will give it a try!
Very pretty cards!
Thanks so much!
