Thanks @mateoalvira7826 for noticing a mistake with this video. I completely forgot to mention Boomerang. While it's a standard layout, the park did add updated trains to eliminate headbanging.
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger is now open and it's a good ride. And the park has the Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster coming this year to give them another solid family coaster.
But I don’t think the Boomerang would be as good as the 2 RMCs or Superman Rollercoaster or Poltergist and Dr. Diabolicals Cliffhanger. I still think It would be fun.

The fact that they’re getting a B&M dive with a 95 degree drop might make this a contender for the best Six Flags park!

The coaster collection is slowly becoming top notch, but it’s the setting and food that to me makes it number 1. They have really good bbq and it’s a really gorgeous park
It's my home park, and really the only thing we're missing is a proper hypercoaster. I know Iron Rattler is just 20 feet shy and feels taller because of the quarry wall, but I'm talking a floater airtime machine. Hell, the only proper hypercoaster in Texas is Titan, which is... not interested in airtime, to say the least.
I'd accept a wing or flying coaster, too.
Loving how all the coaster TH-camrs are saying what I’ve been knew for a decade and that is fiesta Texas is amazing! Hashtag blessed to have it as my home park

My favorite employee interaction at 6FFT was the operator of the Poltergeist ride faking the riders out. He'd give an accurate 5.4.3.2.1 count, then the next group he'd give them 6.5.4.3, then start the ride. He obviously had a good time messing with people on the fast start.
I love when operators do that on launch coasters.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is painting Poltergeist green. And I personally I agree with it, it gives a ghostly feel. This park is great. Me and my dad have been planning a texas trip and we are gonna hit both over Texas and this park but more specifically this park, this park looks like so much fun and I cant wait.
I like that they're plussing an old ride.

The Poltergeist cue line remodel is great. They expanded on the theme of haunted manor and even have a short walk through before entering the station.

This is one of the two Six Flags parks I want to visit. The setting looks great! The coasters selection looks packed. I also appreciate the attention to the customer service. Great review!

I love the way Arrow, B&M, and RMC play the quarry wall! I feel like Pandemonium is kind of a misfit so maybe it can be relocated and replaced by one more coaster that interacts with the wall!
More quarry interactions are better.
Unfortunately, because the quarry wall is made of limestone, it's become prohibitively expensive for the park to interact with it much. As in, if they built a coaster that went atop the quarry wall for a few seconds, it would literally double the cost of the ride. So Six Flags either has to avoid it or save up money for several years at a time to overcome these costs.

I made the drive down on Friday here and I agree! Best Six flags park I've been to. With the addition of DDCH next year, upgrading is line up, it will only get better. If somehow they got a hyper/giga that went on and off the quarry wall, I would have no problem saying it would be my go to park any time.

@@justjon_6844 as a civil engineer, I don’t know of any building restrictions on height in San Antonio other than not effecting the historical preservation of older buildings and some residential stuff. However the main reason there’s not taller things there now is because the quarry wall can cause major problems with wind. A giga is just wishful thinking :(
@@Treecko890 that makes sense I’ve just heard that there’s one on forums and comments but tbh the wind makes sense for any potential height limit if there is one. I think it is wishful thinking but tbh I never thought 10 yrs ago the park would become what it is now so who knows maybe we will get one someday 🤷🏾♂️

I remember one of the Coaster Enthusiast channels (I think it was Airtime Thrills) say that Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the park where they experiment new ride types.
Since they have the first (in a six flags chain) 4D free-spin, RMC raptor, and one of the earlier RMC coasters, it makes sense as to why this park would also be the first Six Flags park to get a new B&M Dive coaster.
Yes this park has a lot of prototypes.
Iron Rattler was only the 2nd RMC conversion, but it was the first with an inversion. So it's still kind of a prototype (also probably the best ride in the state).

Thorough review. Excellent job as always. Regarding coaster depth vs. Magic Mountain, Sea World San Antonio is only 20 minutes away and sports a coaster/flat ride collection that compliments Fiesta Texas almost perfectly. If you think of SWSA/SFFT as one destination, Magic Mountain and its aging ride collection doesn't measure up. Only Cedar Point currently tops San Antonio as a thrill ride destination.
San Antonio also has Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and ZDT's. If new investments continue flowing into both SFFT and SWSA at the recent pace, San Antonio will become America's top thrill ride destination within a decade.
Cotaland isn't far away either.

When he said best I thought of how it’s been my “home” park since my first time in like 1998, haven’t been since they closed power surge I was there it’s last day and it was my last sadly too. It’s literally built amazing but it feels small each time you come back

Next Fright Fest, check the days we're open. Come on a day Monday thru Thursday to experience a lesser crowd. Even a regular Sunday can be okay.
Some of the rides may be closed but you can still have a great time!
I loved visiting during Holiday in the Park both for the crowds and weather.
I'm so glad this is my local park, the only thing it's missing imo is a hyper/giga, one of those utilizing the quarry wall would be amazing

This is my favorite theme park of ever been to and one event that you didn't mention that they started doing last year that you cannot miss is roller coaster Rodeo last year it was an action-packed three-day event; that included exclusive ride time on everything and backstage tours you got to walk up on top of the cliff and the Goliath lift Hill catered dinner and it was also the day and which they started teasing for their new attraction the entire event was only $100 for 3 days

I was just about to say that if you a really amazing experience at my home park of fiesta texas. Rollercoaster rodeo is the event that is a must, since this year was the first year for the event it was unknown but now that they are making it a annual event it’s definitely a highlight for the park.

This is my home park and I love it! I live about 4 hours away but it's so worth it! I am going to New England in November and was disappointed that the six flags there will be closed 😔
It was open until Veteran's Day last year, but attendance has always been light post Fright Fest.

So you like brisket? I recommend taking a trip to Lockhart, Texas. Probably around an hour 30minutes to about 2 hours away from Fiesta Texas. I’m from the San Antonio area and it has a lot of options for BBQ! I recommend Smitty!

I have two questions:
1. Should I go to Dr. Diabolical first since it will be open when I go?
2. Will crowds be bad on a July Wednesday?
I have to think Joker and Wonder Woman will still be the two worst lines so I'd start there, especially because I think Dr. D will have a single rider line like Iron Rattler.

I personally prefer Magic Mountain but only because of their insane ride line up. That said, Fiesta Texas does still have one of the best ride line ups in the chain. But when you compare this park in its entirety to every other Six Flags park then it's clear that this is by far the best overall park in the chain.
I always think of Fiesta Texas as being the Knotts Berry Farm of Six Flags. Both of those parks feel somewhat out of place in their respective chains and seem like they would belong to Herschend. And that is a serious compliment to both parks.

Love this park! Unfortunately the one day I visited it was super humid and the crowds were way greater than I was expecting. Even with those factors and the day not being the best, I still recognized the park as great and one of the best Six Flags parks. With the new B&M dive announcement, what do you think about that addition for the park?
The Texas summer heat is no joke. I think the crowds will love the dive coaster. I think it's great Six Flags is working with B&M on a large coaster again and it's neat to see a beyond vertical drop. I just wish the ride went above the quarry.

I can't wait to see the new theming it gets.
Now there getting a Dive Coaster to add to there collection. However to be honest I would have rathered a GCI but there new Dive Coaster looks cool.
I would have preferred a GCI too, but there already is one in the market with Texas Stingray (granted that has never stopped Six Flags before).
I hope they decide to put a hyper at the back end behind pandemonium with a turn around in the superman paddock and the final turn around in the parking lot along the wall. theme? The Flash.

I was going to make a comment about the fortuitous timing of this video, but I see that's been thoroughly covered by others already, lol.
One thing I haven't seen talked about yet is the fact that, when Cliffhanger opens, Fiesta Texas will have four different roller coasters with a zero-G roll (five if you count Wonder Woman's second inversion as a zero-G roll rather than a corkscrew). That's got to be some kind of record?

Is this theme park worth visiting as a destination specifically ONLY from a farther distance???
I think it's worth traveling to because of the rides and atmosphere.
Does anyone know if all the rides be open during Holiday in the park this year (2021)? I am planning on doing a half day at Sea world SA and 1.5 days at Fiesta Texas close to the end of December. WIll that be enough time for both?
Going off last year, everything should be open except for Gully Washer. Superman can close if the temperature drops too low (seems to be around 60 degrees).
SeaWorld can easily be done in a half day if you don't intend to see all the shows.

It is a toss-up for me whether I like Six Flags Fiesta Texas or Great Adventure more. While Great Adventure has a stronger coaster lineup, Fiesta Texas has a lineup that isn't anything to sneeze at either. Fiesta Texas also has a wonderful atmosphere. Hurricane Bay or Harbor whatever it's called is a solid waterpark.
I prefer Fiesta. I love the atmosphere and I take Iron Rattler over anything at Great Adventure.
I think gulley washer is getting removed I went mid summer and the water was drained
I think the ride had a maintenance issue from what I heard. I suspect it will be back in the future.
Wow though, getting a 95 degree B&M dive coaster is something I want HERSHEYPARK to get

I think the ride looks good. The beyond vertical drop looks intriguing and it's exciting to see Six Flags working with B&M again. I just wish it went above the quarry wall.
I’m a little Surprised the Boomerang Didn’t Make Your Top 15 if it’s intense, has 4 inversions and experiences it backwards is excellent. Why didn’t the Boomerang Rollercoaster make your Top 15 Rides at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Did the ride hurt or have head banging? It’s whatever you think but I’d think it would be in the Top 15. If it’s smooth and thrilling it would probably make my Top 15.
I've ridden so many boomerangs that I prefer the park's more unique things.

Awesome park.
I love Iron Rattlers drop but X2, Millennium, Fury and Orion’s drops are better. The giga drops feel endless while X2 feels like a car accident.
I love all those drops, but I still prefer Iron Rattler's.

These videos were made in 2020 and 2021 and I thought Boomerang at Six Flags Fiesta Texas still ran the old trains
At that point it had the old train.

Six Flags Mexico has an elite top 2, but their coaster lineup thins out quickly.
NOT EVEN CLOSE SFMM IS THE BEST AND CAPITAL ROLLER COASTER OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!! LAST TIME I CHECK I GO TO THEME PARKS FOR RIDES NOT CUSTOMER SERVICES. The park was nice and IR is up there with the top coasters but MM is unbeatable not even Cedar point beat SFMM.
Magic has better coasters overall. This one has the whole package.

Fiesta Texas isn't ever the 2nd best six flags park. It's barely even in the top 5. Unless you're saying it's the best not counting, Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, Great America, and whatever Over Georgia or whatever..... I've been to every park. And fiesta is barely middle of the pack. Their ride lineup is the bottom 5 of all SF parks.
If you took MagicMtns lineup, and threw away every other ride alphabetically, fiesta would still be unable to top them. People who've never been there do not understand the massive ride lineup that exists. They have so many coasters that a lot get lost in the shuffle, whereas if they resided in other parks, they'd be flagship attractions. Scream, Apocolypse, Superman, Riddler, West coast Racers, Full Throttle, Crazanity, LexLuther, would all be spotlight attractions, aTop Ride/Coaster almost everywhere else, and yet at MagMtn, these are petty much nowhere close to their staples, and really just supporting cast. People love to cheer for the underdog and root against the best. But in reality, if this was baseball, fiesta would be in the minor leagues and magic would be the all star.
I love Fiesta's top two and the atmosphere. It's an all around great park.
Best park overall, not best rides.
