Sadie Hawkins Day was made popular by the comic strip Lil Abner. Renee is dressed as Lil Abner's gal Daisy Mae who always wore the polka dot shirt and cut off shorts. Thats also why they're dressed that way in the "Dance With Somebody" sequence.🤓

I love the talent on this show! I'm surprised that Connie Lew was 10 on this show. She's so tiny! I guessed her age at about 7 or 8.
