Awesome. I remember the Ramada Inn over in Cleveland. I stayed at in 1973 that had a Westinghouse traction elevator with a 2-speed door and it had that same type of dinner bell that you rang at 6:07. I stayed at that hotel on my way to Oswego, New York with my mother and father.
At the 10:25 mark, I’ve noticed there’s two versions of these buttons. There’s this kind, which press in super far and have a satisfying click: probably my all time favorite vandal resistant fixture. The other kind is identical but feels really firm and does not click: those tend to have red lights. What is the difference, and Which one is the newer design?
STL Elevators are those RJ45 connectors? Maybe it is made to be able to connect multiple call stations in parallel, and every call station is programmed for that floor? I might be wrong though.

Nice! Glad you finally did this
17:02 Me and Alex actually found a Kieckhefer elevator in a parking garage in Milwaukee!
Do you have any mowrey elevator parts?

You should do another one
Interesting contraptions you've made!
Thanks! I want to make videos about these custom contraptions eventually.
Request:Schindler Vandal Resistant button
I think your series 1 lantern came out of the same building my series 1 lantern came out of
If you got it on eBay then possibly
I did get mine from eBay it’s mirrored just like yours and mine had a position indicator next to it
I’m curious about what the circuit board on the HT call station actually does
I don't see how something as simple as a call station needs to be so advanced.....

@@stlelevators My guess is that it's for some sort of multiplexing or networking. If you can get a better shot of that Toshiba chip, it'd help.
