I prefer Android over iPhone because I dont have to trust none with Android. This video make it sound like Google is fully responsible for Android which is not true. ANDROID is an open source project and can be used and modified by anyone. Google is responsible for maintaining the repository and also the "releases" of android but here, there is transparency. While iOS I will have to trust Apple for playing fair when it comes the security because its closed source. Vulnerabilities are fixed faster in Android as many people can contribute (not talking about the OTA updates from the manufacturers) while with iOS, you much have to wait longer. Android has better applications level sandboxing and more customizable. Its opens a huge market of possibilities and creative security systems. It stands against monopoly and again, is again not "totally" dependent on a single company(Google) for it's existence.

If I had to build a skin, I would write up a wrapper which would call the AndroidOS backend APIs, without hampering the OS security.

Android is meant for all kind of users. From low economic lavel to high economic level. But, I-phone meant for only those people who belong to high economic level. Online class ke liye, daily ke kaam chalane ke liye budget ya low budget segment par koi na koi android smartphone mil hi jaate hai. Log wohi chahthe hai. Ab jiske paas paisa jyada hai woh agar chahe toh 1960mAH wala 2GB+32GB I-phone 7 20k mein kharid sakte hai (show off karne ke liye).
