From Marciac in 2008, the Masada Sextet. John Zorn - Saxophone Joey Baron - Drums Greg Cohen - Bass Dave Douglas - Trumpet Uri Caine - Piano Cyro Baptista - Percussion
@MZRN1661 Yeah, I've noticed that too. Interesting, because John is very happy with the sextet- he called this particular concert one of the rare instances when something magical happened on the bandstand outside the music, and basically stated this show was what revitalized Masada. I think you called it with the communication thing....
There is an interesting 'mistake' going on 4:20....Cyro starts, Joey looks up with a mixture of delight and confusion, John seems to reprimand Cyro and Cyro responds. It's interesting because I noticed at NSJ that John snubs Cyro quite a lot. Perhaps because Cyro is always so delightfully all over the place or there is some lacking communication.

@richardsull119 if u think someone is useless in a band for not having a line to play in a song then u dont deserve to listen to their music.... not playing along tbh is alot tougher than to play with them.... i know it would b for me... so if u dont have any comments that have point u should keep them to urself.
