- The all-new Ford Bronco is back and although it's been a long time, it's worth the wait. Ford went almost all out in this redesign and resurrection to give us modern amenities, off-road capability, tons of features, and the looks to match. This model shown is the Ford Bronco Badlands 2-door with the 7 speed manual. Although the new Bronco isn't perfect, there's a lot to like about it and it's truly a great Jeep competitor.

Another great review on a sharp Bronco! All it needs is a 5.0L Coyote V8 under the hood. Hopefully production meets demand and the prices come down to MSRP at dealerships. Right now, they are insanely overpriced.
As much as I would like it, we'll see no V8.

Having owned a 1977 Bronco (last year of the original Broncos) with the 302 V8 automatic, I really like the way Ford kept the design intent of the original while incorporating modern engineering, safety and convenience. I think if I were to get one it may be the Badlands Sasquatch 4 door hardtop with the 2.3 manual. I like the looks of the 2 door but the 4 door is much better suited to the comfort of backseat passengers. And the luggage area is much larger.

Nice review. This has a lot more on it than my needs so I'm pretty happy with my Bronco Sport (Outer Banks edition). But you're right...they are two totally different vehicles.

I think a lot of people agree with you. To me, it’s not true to the original without an option for a 302 ci engine.
I prefer a soft top for the 2 door, it’s simple and I live in Florida so it will be most of the time down so when it randomly rains I can put up in a quick pinch🙏🏼🙏🏼

I get people want power, but christ. 300 hp in a 4 banger is incredible. I drove the old Broncos with 302's. Those were dogs. As opposed to these. It's not supposed to be fast.

The sights on the hood have tie downs. Can mount a camera which is kind of cool. They also give you a great way of gauging the inside of the tires.

I agree. I think Carscoops mentioned that a hardtop (fixed) is in the works. An all-electric version is also in the works which would be my choice.

"It's not perfect" but I like someone is making off-road vehicles again, and not just more sport-cutes.

I think that Badlands has the LUX package based on wireless charging and a few of the other items. I also think that might be marine grade vynil and not leather.
This appears to be a Badlands 4cyl/manual, Lux (has the adaptive cruise button) and leather seat (you only get carpet in a Badlands with leather).

What option gives you carpeted floors, as rubberized flooring is standard on the Black Diamond and Badlands editions.
The 4dr back seat is much wider and overall seems more spacious.
I'd dismantle the roof rails to make the Bronk look better , never needed them before anyway .
is the 12V outlet in the back standard with all broncos or just the badlands standard? I can't find the info on Fords website. Not sure if I have to buy a big package to get it.

My current daily driver is an 88 Jeep Wrangler v6, 5spd, hard top. To complain about the noise on this Bronco is comical. I have this exact model on order. When it arrives, it’ll be like driving a space ship compared to what I’ve got now. Jeep life is a lifestyle. This will be an easy transition
The 2.3L is a pretty strong engine for a 4cy, you forgot to mention that you can mod/tune the hell out of these engines.
I think alot of you guys wanting a coyote dont realize just how much more expensive these would be with a coyote. The engines offered do very well.
Ford needs to offer a 2 dr 5.0 (truck spec 400hp) bronco I agree.

I love it. But why get a Badlands without the Sasquatch Package?
You get just about everything on a Badlands that you would get with Sasquatch. The two major differences are with Badlands you get staybar disconnect which Sas doesn’t give you. On the other hand you don’t get the 35s with the Badlands but would get with Sas. I will add 35s later.

Good review, but the part about the steering is way off. It's not light at all and feels more connected than my Mazda sedan. It's far and away better than any other truck for sure.

Yes you’re correct, the washout floors come standard in the Badlands but I believe the leather seats or some other option adds the carpet…kinda weird
High and Lux package add carpet plus other electrical convenience.

For some reason you cannot get power seats in the 2 door. Most likely because of the flip forward seat to allow rear seat access. I would have ordered the leather for my 2D if they were power. No one will ever be in the back seat of mine lol

Nice ride, but too many jeep like elements for my liking. Especially those rubicon like wheels.
Bronco is slow as balls though. Another channel recently raced one against the 190hp Maverick hybrid, and the little hybrid left it in the dust... like it wasn't even close the Bronco was so far behind.
Í saw the race & Í was stunned by the results.
The Bronco isn’t designed to go fast. It’s designed to power it’s way up through/over obstacles at a slow pace. Takes hp to get through/over obstacles at a controlled rate of speed. That being said, the Maverick is lighter with a higher gear ratio, and it’s designed to perform primarily on paved surfaces. My wife’s 190hp car will outrun my 285hp 4 wheel drive pickup, but her car is light & aerodynamic because it’s designed to perform on a paved surface. 4wd trucks & SUVs are designed for a different purpose.

I'd say that's relatively affordable for this type of car; most cars in this category will be around $60,000 to $70,000.

My F150 just got towed from my house because Ford could not jet me drive it because the steering knuckle might come loose and render the vehicle uncontrollable. The F150 is their bread and butter. QC at Ford is abysmal
