What you can do(it works on Assetto Corsa not sure about FH3) is make turbo a car and give it low kws but massive amounts of boost it translate's the boost into torque as a diesel does IRL, i made a Mercedes 300SEL diesel mod for Assetto with around 300kws and 2000nm torque running around 50psi of boost at 4500rpm, You should try it out its see if it works.
with the gravity tweak you actually made it slower. the acceleration it can do is F/m, F is the accelerating force, m is the mass of the car (which isn't affected by gravity), and said force is calculated by m*g*x, m is the mass again, g is gravity (around 10m/s^2 normally, probably around 5 in your game), and x (because I don't have Greek letters on my keyboard) is the firction/grip coefficient between the tire and the road. if you take half of normal gravity, but the mass stays the same (11kg), then F/m is half of its original value, and that's the car's acceleration. this is of course not considering anything aerodynamics related, and assuming that the game uses real world physics
the 5:5 was wheelieing because the spoiler on the back was producing so much downforce compared to the front of the car. Also it is ENTIRELY possible that it's barrel rolling (technically speaking it's an aileron role but whatever) because of the rotational mass of the driveshaft.
there is also a momentum caused by ur engine... rev a engine up and you'll see the car lean towards 1 side; its stopped bc ur engine is connected to your chassie and that being so heavy that the momentum is not enough to lift the car entirely ... now having a car of very little weight the calculated momentum is enough to make the whole car flip
The reason the car was doing a barrel roll probably was because the engine moves inside the car. If you ever noticed that when driving stuff like the hoonitruck or hoonicorn in fh4 the turbos move to the right slightly when the rpm increases and when you let off it goes back to the way it was. Meaning that this also has an effect on your car (if I’m right) this also might make for some cool glitches
PS und KW werden simultan benutzt. Falsch ist die Angabe in Forza nicht, allerdings sind PS normalerweise geläufiger. // HP and KW are used simultaneously, so Forza didn't make anything wrong, but the most people are used to HP.
I think the 5kg:5HP car is popping up at relatively high speeds because of downforce. There is not enough downforce in the front to keep it down in relation to the back. The best solution is to add more downforce to the front. My theory for the barrel roll is more of a theory. I think the force of the piston in the engine coming up is causing the car to pop up as well. However, I doubt that FH3 went that in-depth with its physics.
Downforce is modded to stay at 0 no matter what ;) I actually figured that one out, there is a "torque roll" factor in the game fills that causes the cars to roll/twist :)
Well the reason why it's rolling when its revving, is because the synyriptcal force of the engine spinning a certain direction to the side. Example a ww1 bi plane engine is a spinning engine, but if you put more power into it it will be to powerful for it to be controllable...
Mass and weight are different, weight is the force with which the car is pulled down, but the mass is how resistant an object is to changes of momentum. So when you change the gravity, it has no influence on the mass
5kg would be good like, imagine you broke down on the highway or a road. what do you do? you pick up your car, put it over your shoulder and walk to the filling station
I wonder if changing gravity did change the mass too? Because weight and gravity is different... The flipping probably has to do with the rotating torque of the engine being simulated based on something else like displacement and RPM, rather than horsepower, it also causes the strange handling partially I think because one side is getting a lot more weight from that engine torque
@@TheRacingMonkey even if you mod the downforce on the wings to be at 0, there's still the diffuser that has downforce. since it's a 5kg car, the diffuser pushes the car down more easily, making the rear lower than the front and then, creating the inverted effect of the diffuser. hence the wheelie
If the Forza physics mimic real physics, then the mass if the car won’t affect how far it can jump. The jump distance is only dependent on the angle and magnitude of the velocity and the height of the jump compared to the landing point.

Changing the gravity changes the weight of the car, not the mass. Therefore your acceleration will be slower compared to if it was actually 11kilos
