And that works for any shot--the initial or as in this case a carom upward withing the imaginary cylinder. Don't touch. Also if one uses the backboard (and not) and the ball has started to descend, that too is often called as goaltending.

They always play the college basketball championship game at some huge venue and when you see how far away most of the spectators are, you'd never want to buy a ticket. Back in the day my dad and his friends all went to the Final Four and around halftime they left to watch the rest of the game at a bar because they couldn't see shit.

The hockey game I think Daz is talking about is the Winter Classic its different teams each year, played around or on New Years but memorial one for me being from Detroit was in 2014 when the Detroit Red Wings played the Toronto Maple Leafs at Michigan Stadium with the attendance being over 100,000!

In 2014 between Toronto and Detroit had over 105,000 people in attendance. Also, the Toronto vs Golden State - the reason it was so hype was because GSW was considered heavy favorites as they were a dynasty team. And Toronto was already up 3-1 in the series, so seeing them take it to the Warriors was amazing for the fans.

I had season tickets for the 07-08 Celtics season....man did the Garden get loud every game. First time Celtics fans felt we had a real chance in a long, long time. They did win the title that year in the end.
I live in Canada and there’s outside basketball court near me that is usable in bad weather because the floor of the court has a bunch of small squares so the water or snow falls thru the court and drains to the sides

They all go on the court because a timeout was called by the other team. Coaches call time outs when 1 plager makes 3+ shots in a row to try to get them out of their rhythm
