This project is from the field of art & science.
This project expands the boundaries of painting and visual arts. These are living canvases that behave unstably. They melt, they grind, they transform. In the project I use environmentally friendly materials: ice that turns into water, chalk, natural pigments.
It seems to me, that this project is exploring the topic of global warming. I plan to put these canvases on the water, on the living seas and rivers. They will dissolve and become a part of the global water of the world. Water murals don`t go off into eternity, they leave impressions that are stored in the memory of people. Impressions are something that always stays with us.
A mural is an image that is applied to the wall of a building or structure. In my case, the surface is ice, as well as the surface of the nature (river, sea, ocean).
