If I was striving in China I'd be in that dry riverbed with an army of machines, I see great smooth Billy boulders and pebbles I could sell for landscaping yards and some deeper sections could be further dredged and the soil and silt turned into top quality top soil. Also river sand used in cement is becoming scarce in China and India it has an angular grain not smooth grains like desert sand that's the real money maker, FK the planet Fk everyone else I need to eat...

The Buddha Statues are a sign for peace!!!! Human emotion is connected to the flow of water...the chi. When the emotion is geared to war and oppression...the life force drys up. Only love and compassion will bring back the flow of life through the Waters. We are all connected to Nature...but very few understand how and why.

There is no problem with water flow. Its hot temperature drying the river fast. Dams are intended to generate electricity, or distribute water to areas needing water.

This is just like how the River Saraswathi dried up. The Pandavas spent their exile in the deer forests along the Saraswathi River. It was west of the Matsya Kingdom. Great Rishis like Vashistha and Vishwamitra had their hermitages/ashrams along this river. Also, the great Samaveda-sage Dhaumya of Ayodhya lived along this river. Dhaumya was the personal priest of Yudishtira.
I hope China does not forget the Yangtze the way India has forgotten Saraswathi (both River and Goddess).

Interesting new development. My theory for the security, prosperity and insuring of liberty for the ''' Collective Of North American Civilization'' best at this Point In Time.
Good News is that Eye Love You. Calling for an immediate ceasefire !
That stated, read the following thrice carefully and and please only discerning, wise and questioning persons respond : Back in October 2019, as a World Peace Advocate, Independent Student Scholar of History, Geopolitics, Wars & Civilizations and Independent Security Analyst and Theorist HAD concluded that we ( North America, NATO member countries and THE WEST) are on a path towards WW3 due to the US-CHINA TRADE WAR begun by the Trump Administration back in early 2018, The Arrest of the CFO of Huawei Meng Whenzou by the RCMP in Canada in order to honor an extradition treaty with the USA, other geopolitical events, & the historical event known as Pearl Harbor. Concluding as an Independent Thinker, Analyst and Philosopher that we ( Humanity ) are on a Path Towards WW3 HAD created, designed & made a New Training Program produced to go hand in hand with a WW3 scenario. Thus, October 17 2019 HAD performed the 1st session of the General War Integrated Total Body Training System aka The 300 Workout integrated & in parallel to a near future timeline witch was the WW3 scenario. 93 Days later, the COVID 19 Crisis Began ! In parallel to my WW3 scenario witch is caused by a Stock Market Crash witch consequently triggers a Global Financial Collapse the Coronavirus began. Not sure what caused Covid believe it was snakes but cannot rule out another possibility. What do know is my scenario HAD a solution the creation of a New Institution : The International Citizen Integrated Social Security Force aka The Dragon Army witch am calling for the creation. Tell the Leaders of the Free World Dragon Zero's Message : Drop Down and give Dragon 13 pushups with Love & For The Sake of World Peace.

This colossus project itself is an environmental problem of an unparalleled magnitude that might also contribute to the current drought for it disrupts the entire water cycle of this region.
    Quote:
What are some problems caused by Three Gorges Dam?
That biodiversity is threatened as the dam floods some habitats, *reduces water flow to others, and alters weather patterns.* Economic development has spurred deforestation and pollution in surrounding provinces in central China, endangering at least 57 plant species, including the Chinese dove tree and the dawn redwood.

Picking an extreme and portraying it as somehow abnormal is a little disingenuous, I feel. The fact that some statues have been revealed, shows that the water levels have been higher than in ancient times. This is usually due to dams or mini dams which are common on usually low level rivers. I’m talking generally here. i’m not familiar with the history of this river. I can tell you though, that the rivers and irrigation canals around Guangzhou are absolutely fine. I live there, so I know.

I was enjoying myself along the beautiful banks of the Yangtze River (2016). People were happily practicing Tia Chi, line dancing flying dragons and cracking bull whips. Much fun! The river is long and has many cities along it's length. Shanghai is along this river. As you go up-stream you will eventually come to Wuhan. That's where I was. It was one of my most cherished memories. There were no floods or droughts during any of my visits there. I will go back again someday to that beautiful city.

The yangtze river must have been low 600 years ago for the statues to be carved, everything comes round again, I do not think they had global warming and this amount of pollution 600 years ago.

These generational droughts will lead to world famine and the fall of civilizations, as negative events compound.
We are so dependent on nature, yet amazed at the rapid decline and disappearance of ancient civilizations such as the Mayans.
Forgetting crop failures, just the lack of drinking water will swiftly devastate nations from viably functioning.

But someone will blame it on climate change caused by us, naturally.

America experimented with cloud seeding and it's still undecided if, in 1947, their attempts caused a harmless storm to change course and do catastrophic damage in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Now, the interesting thing nations should be looking into is the process in which coral creates storms out of clear skies (when they are being sunburned they release a chemical that escapes the water, raises into the sky and causes rain cloud formation)...THAT seems like important stuff to figure out....make clouds than makes clouds bigger.
