I have 5 drones, and three of them would easily fit in a backpack, and two of them do not have the Remote ID technology built in that the police used to track and arrest those kids. As a FAA certified professional drone operator, there are FAA regulations that deal with all aspects of drone operations. There exists technology that detects, and disables drones and is distributed throughout our country. None of the drones in my fleet can even take off (because they are geofenced) in restricted airspace. The majority of the "drones" I have seen in the videos are obviously commercial airlines. This media blitz is a distraction meant to get ratings.
If those drones don't belong to US and the Military doesn't know where they came from then we are under attack and the drones hovering over US Military bases are taking surveillance and we're in trouble. I hope my observation of the whole thing is incorrect. 🙏🇺🇸♥️🛡️

If I were a conspiracy advocate (which I am not, mostly) I could hypothetically say that in the highest places in Washington, people want to change the drone laws - to make them much more stringent. But making new laws takes a lot of time. So, one could argue that maybe a few rogues may have paid people to wreak havoc with drones/UAVs so it comes to a head and then Congress will be forced to amend the laws. Which in some ways is good for national security, but bad for personal liberties. Americans already have precious few of those, compared to 50 years ago.

If it is happening in other countries, and only in friendly NATO countries that is another story. Presuming these drone operators watch the news, it is notable they have said nothing to calm others' concerns.
As a FAA certified professional drone operator, there are FAA regulations that deal with all aspects of drone operations. There exists technology that detects, and disables drones and is distributed throughout our country. None of the drones in my fleet can even take off (because they are geofenced) in restricted airspace. The majority of the "drones" I have seen in the videos are obviously commercial airlines. This media blitz is a distraction meant to get ratings.
Perhaps they try, but it's not sensational enough to rise above the noise.
If those drones don't belong to US and the Military doesn't know where they came from then we are under attack and the drones hovering over US Military bases are taking surveillance and we're in trouble. I hope my observation of the whole thing is incorrect. 🙏🇺🇸♥️🛡️

If I were a conspiracy advocate (which I am not, mostly) I could hypothetically say that in the highest places in Washington, people want to change the drone laws - to make them much more stringent. But making new laws takes a lot of time. So, one could argue that maybe a few rogues may have paid people to wreak havoc with drones/UAVs so it comes to a head and then Congress will be forced to amend the laws. Which in some ways is good for national security, but bad for personal liberties. Americans already have precious few of those, compared to 50 years ago.
