Ahyeon wants to be a rapper singer but clearly YG wants her a top tier vocalist. YG changed her song choices twice. In Gone and now in Dangerously. Both put her in the very difficult vocal range and outside of her comfort zone.
For years we hard about how hard the YG training program was, but the techniques were a closely guarded secret. Every member of Blackpink said that they cried during the training process. We see a few episodes of their training, but imagine this going on for years. Jennie endured this for six years!

I think, the video quit fail to highlight the main point of vocal group.. as known as harmonization. When you sing as a group, sometime, someone will lead their part, at the same time someone will support the lead. Hence sometime as the said, they might lost or forgot their part in other voice while singging.
You cannot overshadow owner of the part, yet you can't just mumbling pointless without noticeable. This to make the song look full and completing each other. The other problem is, you can't just use full of your own voice to the fullest, because everyone key and pitch might be different.. even worst, its 7 of them to be syncronized.
As a group, sometime they have to lower their key and pitch to suit all the members range and find a good spot to shine their own voice color.

It was total BS for Ahyeon to come at Chiquita like that. Ahyeon was simply grand standing, acting like she's hot $hit, always playing to the camera. Chiquita was only 13 at the time, and they're both roommates. Ahyeon had many different ways to help her without acting like a total B.

I assume you’ve never worked under stress in a group environment. Not everything will go smoothly and people will put expectations on each other. It’s a learning process that all these girls can grow from and grow a stronger bond from. Someone has to step up within a group and call out the problems, otherwise they could’ve never delivered this performance.
hon, my bias is chiquita and she'll forever be but i think ahyeon was just being on a leader mode and she just wanted to make the whole performance better. It's for the whole group not just for herself. Chiquita understands that and didn't mind because she knows.
Ah-Yeon just wants her roommate to be the best, Ah Yeon could have let Chiquita alone in trouble and be eliminated because of her unsuccessful performance. Ah-Yeon is a good friend, although because of that she could have been eliminated from the competition. Not everyone wants to help their friends when they are in trouble. Understand that!!
Why dont you just be grateful of Ahyeon just like how chiquita is thankful to Ahyeon. Being a yg trainee is hard, not because you are 13y.o then you got a special treatment. I am sure all the trainees faced a lot more strict trainors. Dont deny it cus you just seem like have a full hate to Ahyeon from your comment and very bias to your Chiquita that you cant comprehend the help of Ahyeon to her roommate. Tsskkk.
