He doesn’t usually shows it and he may seem kind of cold and unapproachable, so him giving them a group hug was really nice to see. Makes him more human instead of just a man who sees his artists as money-making people. I got the same feeling when I saw him giving a back hug to GD, before his Seoul’s concert from his last world tour. The man cares, he’s just not overly affectionate. By his words, he’s usually very critical because the public it’s even worse, so he wants his artists to be prepared for their criticism.

By giving us this content of Baby Monster, you can now see how YG thinks. From the training to sales and strategy for their artists. Now it's up to the artists on how they will sustain the hype and get people interested in them for 7 years and not to get the popularity in their heads. That is how i see it. They've had Bigbang and 2NE1, the most popular idols during their times but they were unable to penetrate a wider audience outside of Korea and Asia, and they were plagued of controversies back then. As for Blackpink, the difference is Blackpink was able to maintain their charisma and cuteness eventhough they are grown women already. And they were able to bridge Korea globally, by not succumbing to rumors and issues surrounding them. They handled their personal lives very well and being very careful in who they interact with, they were able to maintain their standard. Look at them now? They are the standard of any Group, not just in Korea, even foreign artists are praising them and copying their stages and performances, Usher admitted that he copied their stage and put it on his Las Vegas show. Pharel also is asking on how he can put Blackpink in his album. It's crazy, how BLACKPINK, charmed the world and the music industry as a whole. I am a Proud Blink.😊. I wish Baby Monster the best. I wish they can follow the footsteps of Blackpink ! And they are the 2nd group i will be rooting for next to Blackpink. They are Blackpink's little sisters afterall.😊
One reason that Blackpink became global treasure was because it is not too Korea. Only Jisoo that is 100% Korean both her race and personality but Jennie, Rosie, Lisa they are not too Korean. Their personalities are different, they speak fluent English, they are not shy to talk to
International media in English, they are more ready for the world than other Korea GG. This is a big reason that they can reach international fans easier than other GG. I think.
What separates Blackpink imho is that they are not just a group who performs together but their friendship and togetherness are on a whole different level. They not just act or show that they are friends but they really are friends friends, deep!

They are roaming freely in Instagrams and Tiktok, especially as OT7 for Flower dance. So, even YG itself is not taking this "survival show" aspect seriously!
From episode 1 to this episode. I’m impressed with Haram’s development. Her confidence is night and day. I wish they debut as a 7 member group. If any will be eliminated and will join a different agency. She will surely be someone’s gain. All are super talented. Really excited for this group. Sad to say, the first time i watched Baby monsters, I unstanned my favorite 4th gen group. Right now i’m all about Blackpink and Babymonsters!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Hey wait, Chiquita's top in the dance performance, isn't that Jennie's top from DDU DU DDU DU? I thought that I saw it before but it finally clicked.
But from the last two episodes, they proved that they can be a group of 7. Anyone else noticed when YG smiled in the middle of the performance and realized he was on camera. It looked like he caught himself and then changed back to the serious stoic look.
I think that YG will debut all 7 in one group. The introduction to the trainees especially the fact that there is 3 Korean, 2 Japanese, and 2 Thai that eliminated any one of them would hurt their success in any of these three markets. I think that if he eliminates any one of the Korean trainees the group won't get the domestic following. Removing any one of the Japanese members could kill the sales in the Japanese market which if I remember right is one of the biggest markets for music. And then how would you think the Thai people would feel if Pharita or Chiquita is eliminated from the group.
They proved that they can work well as a 7 member group and are not just individual powerhouses. I know that someone on the YG staff said they were 7 little Jennies but it feels more like they have 7 little BLACKPINKs. Did anyone also notice in the practice that Chiquita can be all bubbly then the music turns on and her face changes into this beast. Both Ruka and Ahyeon have great leadership qualities. Haram keeps surprising us with her growth Pharita, while she looks up to Lisa, she would be the next 'Golden Voice' of YG like elder sister Rosé. Rora is like a Disney Princess with a much more commanding voice.
While a 5 member group would be successful, the 7 members together would be even stronger. They have the potential for the 'All Kill' when they debut like elder sisters BLACKPINK. Like the true potential of the 7 member group is still yet to be realized. The chrisma from each member is off the charts and how can you not root for all 7 members to debut.

These girls are all so talented and they again showed how good they are (at such a young age). Even one more year since these videos is going to make them so much better.
2NE1 was my actual first KPOP song I liked with "I am the best" cause of Adidas Ad, just didn't know it at the time (way before Black Pink). I got into KPOP much later in 2020 and now I love BP and 2NE1. I'm so happy 2NE1 got some props. The performance was A1 as always, these girls always slay.
My favorite part of this episode was how Leejung was so emotional when complimenting them telling them to "Love Dance". Also how the gilrs showed their love for each other, strong sisters, reminds me of the Pinks. They love each other and will take care of each other.
YG thought 5? It doesn't even make sense, why not 4, lol. He thought maybe add 1 more, why? Regardless, we all know that its gonna be 7. Can't wait for their debut May 12th. They are gonna blow up!!! #OT7

If you re watch the introduction videos of the members, the way YG is talking is like he is presenting the girls not as a trainees but a debut members, they put in different order the videos first de introduction and then the last evaluation, (he say he called rora because he wants she bright like an aurora on stage, say pharita once she get used to Korea she will spread her wings, with Haram say its hard to beat her vocals and she can be put against renowned artist (he is not going to loose her when he said that) with chiquita he said he hopes in the future she will be popular as Lisa, with Ahyeon say that is difficult to have it all like her, so saying that you think he will lost that gems? Asa and Ruka are rappers and YG is a house of rappers, he is not going to launch a group without rappers… at least 2 if the group is 7

The following members have been spotted (in person and on tiktok) and are known to be in Baby Monster: Ruka, Pharita, Ahyoon, Chaquita. It has only been two or three of them at a time and ONLY these 4 girls. Never Asa, Haram, and Rora. This lineup also closely follows the Blackpink profile. The all around ace Jennie (Ahyoon), the voice of Rose' (Pharita), the bubbly maknae with a sweet voice Lisa (Chiquita), and the hilarious and caring unnie who is absolutely gorgeous (who can sing, dance, and rap) Jisoo (Ruka). With this lineup Baby Monster has 4 girls who have amazing and unique vocals, 4 excellent dancers, and 2 known rappers (maybe Pharita can rap - at this point we do not know). The skill level of Haram, Asa, and Rora is at that same level and possibly higher than the others, but at this time there has been no evidence that they are still with the group.

Vocal wise the best is Haram, lead vocal wise Rora is the best, Rapping wise Asa is the best, dance wise Asa is the second best & Haram is the 3rd best, stage presence wise Asa is the 3rd best. And if YG don’t debut this 3 young lady, then sorry, that baby monster won’t be monster anymore, it will just be a baby group.

I really hope all seven of them get to debut with 'BABYMONSTER', but YG mentioned that only five will be selected. Based on what I've seen in the episodes so far, my bet is on 🤔Ruka, 🤔Pharita, 🤔Ahyeon, 🤔Rora, and 🤔Chiquita. Because YG has given them a lot of praise, and those who have watched every episode would know that.

@@_Naesoo_ I don't think it's a debut song, it's a performance that hasn't been aired yet, I saw the last evaluation preview #2, there are two more performances that haven't been aired, namely vocals and dance.
