Thanks for the heads-up re' Minami. We were sad to see Shinsen move, so a good sushi place in the city centre is great news (... and we've been meaning to go to Paz for years).
Mr Boney looks especially fabulous, though likely to bring vegetarians out in hives. Terrific vlog and nice to see Leith holding its own (perhaps the disruption caused by the tram was worth it after all).
I live in Edinburgh and Mr Boney is indeed fabulous. They basically specialise in one thing only, beef rib. It's slow cooked for something like 24 hours and as you can see from this vid, the meat literally falls off the bone.
Even if I’m nowhere near Edinburgh, I still take inspiration from your videos. My family is slowly becoming vegan and the meals you show really sell us all on this new venture. We like to eat well and the beautiful food helps us visualize what we can do.
@@brodievlog regrettably there aren't many options for Polish food in Edinburgh. Steam Bunny does great Polish grub from time to time, and theres a Polish pub in Leith that we haven't been to yet
I know this video is about food but I always like the way you choose colours for your outfits you look always really nice, love your videos and love Edinburgh ❤
Love your videos! We have been and will be returning to Scotland this year. One of our favorite things about travel is finding local places to support; thank you for showing those! I was surprised we didn’t see any local places to purchase tartan patterns. We didn’t want to support the big chain touristy shop. Do you know of anywhere we can get a good scarf or sweater?
Try checking out the Tartan Blanket Co for some responsibly sourced goods - plus I love that they also sell more original, limited check/tartan designs! For sweaters, maybe if you pop into Scottish Design Exchange you might be lucky to find a fab handmade jumper from one of my fellow sellers - they tend to be about £90 but they are STUNNING. I am planning to get one myself!
❤the one with the flaming drink!😊 have a wonderful week 😊
The flame was relentless .DD ! Thank you! Hope you have a good one too .)

We popped in to toast tea today, highly recommended.
Yussss glad it's been a success for you too!

Greetings from Florida!, all the food looks yummy.
I never trust someone who takes small bites. I would trust you and Simon with my life 😂
😂 Not on this world to be dainty!!!
Don’t sleep on African cuisine in Edinburgh.
We're always on the lookout for new places to promote, so please let us know if there's anywhere you think deserves more attention!
Hi @kakibot and Simon! Do you guys have a favorite Polish food spot in Edinburgh and possibly Glasgow? Love your videos! 🍽️

Thanks! Appreciate the recommendations anyway @@simonmountney 👍
Not sure if people are unsure but that Mr. Boney rib sandwich is absolutely best with blue cheese sauce. 🙌🏻
Mr Boney looked so good we went today. It was delicious!
'nestled in little tortilla blanket's' - there's an adorable description if I've ever heard one, especially with your accent!
