Please don't rely too much on your embroidery machine, because the Handwork is the artist's touch. I love everything about this little girl. Did I ever tell you that when I got married to my husband Paul Hoffman, we had a Renaissance Faire Wedding? It was in Larkspur, Colorado in July 2005. I used McCalls and Butterick Renaissance sewing patterns to sew my wedding members ensembles. Mine was from a gold upholstery fabric and my husband's was Black, brown and metallic gold in a paisley pattern upholstery fabric. My son Tim, walked me down the aisle outside and we had a Scottish Bagpiper play when I was walking to the outdoor chapel with Tim. My only regret was not wearing a hooped skirt/petticoat underneath to draw the fabric away from me. It was extremely hot and I was melting outside. Keep up the Great work Beth. I am your biggest Fan! Love Ya!

Hi Beth, I’m always amazed by your skills and talent. Juniper is so adorable and all her clothing is beautiful as well as the shoes. I LOVE the shoes! They are super cute! I enjoy watching the entire process but I am most interested in the sculpting and the face up. I’m trying to learn as much as possible because I hope to try it myself sometime soon. I find it very interesting and relaxing and I think I might do well at it. Your sewing skills are fantastic and far to advanced for me but I still enjoy watching how you do it. I hadn’t either until I started researching how to sew leather properly! I guess it could work on thicker thread/embroidery for fabric sewing too?

I have no idea how you know where to place the embroidery on the fabric, so in comes out in the right place on the Cape? I have customized many Neo Blythe girls but never a Middie. I appreciate seeing how the insides come apart! Do you offer a shoe pattern for sell? One month ago! Juniper is long gone! What an adorable, sweet girl you created! TY!😊
Oh boy, i haven’t learned that yet! 😅 I stitched it out and then drew round my templates. Though I’m sure there must be a way to position them accurately 🤔
I haven’t made Middie shoe patterns yet, though I do plan to. With some socks on, they can fit a lot of Neo shoes!

I do like the whole process, but I also mostly want to see the actual doll face sculpting and hair treatments. I probably won't sew clothes for awhile.

I bought it on AliExpress, it was labelled as a 15cm Blythe body. It is a good replica of the original Middie body ^_^ I bought the pale and the pink ones, and found the pink matched the fakie heads best (so I use the pale body as a mannequin!).
