- Hi everyone. I traveled for the first time with an overnight sleeper train and I created a trip report. I hope you enjoy it!

The beauty of these sleeper cabins is that they can also be transformed for day use. Meaning, the bottom bunk can be lifted up so that there are two seats and a table in the middle available. It's really nice if you want to do some work and not immediately jump into bed
For your next sleeper journey, I suggest you take the Corona sleeper train (406/407) from Brasov to Budapest, especially when they have the new MAV rolling stock on this route. There is also a restaurant car open for the whole journey and breakfast is included. Prices are also better than CFR on this route (including the connection Bucuresti to Brasov)
Yes, I heard about it. But I think after the pandemic they removed the restaurant car.
@@cristiantonio387the restaurant car was removed during the pandemic indeed. It's been running again continuously from Dec. 2021.
CFR on the other hand has completely removed their full dining cars starting Dec. 2022 (at least 1 was running on Dacia, Ister lost his for good in 2020)
I loved the video. Very useful for planning upcoming trips. How much did the ticket cost?
Around 1500 lei round trip
Did you know that upon your arrival in Budapest, you had access to the lounge? ( it's because you had a sleeping car)
To which lounge?
