Absolutely gorgeous! This is back when trucks had lines and personality and were like sculptures. I just watched a video here in the States of a 2023 Peterbilt. Its like your house inside and fully computerized. But it has no lines. Everything is like a rounded hunk of cheap plastic. I sure hope these folks aren't getting rid of these beautiful old trucks! That would be a shame!
God, I love these old trucks. Gotta check Airfix for some kits.......God, I love Airfix......am I even American, or was I abducted at an early age...Centurion is my favorite tank, love Hawker Hunters, dislike American Foosball, like European football/soccer.........prefer tea over coffee.....loved my MG.......Definitely something amiss.......
UGLY? Are you KIDDING me dude? Those trucks are like beautiful works of art! I suppose you find today's rounded plastic looking trucks with no lines and where they all look like each other to be nice looking?
@@scottsheehan1596 Oh, I do too. If they are OLDER ones. The newer models look like rounded pieces of plastic with no lines or distinction at all. I think the Autocar trucks from the 1940's through the early '60's were some of the hottest trucks. When I was a little boy back in the early '70's my father used to take me swimming in a man made lake. Across the street was a cement factory. These old Autocar trucks were still in use and used to transport the sand to make the cement from the other side of the road (that's actually how the lake was formed). I used to LOVE to watch them whilst laying on the beach. I used to make my dad take me over to look at them once they quit work for the day.
@@doogle2822 Yes, I do too! Especially the old London double decker's with those split windscreens and the open top seating area. There's just something about them that's so awesome!
Crouches have the most amazing kit. New and old.

@@retroguy9494 I love the old British buses as well and they had style all the way. The new buses are all tin and plastic with self igniting engines.
