What a beautiful clip. Before I became a teen, Veronica hosted a talk show here in Md.on station WJZ-TV.(still here) She would talk and introduce films on Sat. night (Festival Of Stars?) First movie I saw was "I Married A Witch"! Her bio is so sad. A beautiful woman. Beautiful music too.
I was on audio, she was stunning with sensuality and mystery and yet total sadness and pain were obvious. I do not think any 2" tape is left of her intros which were shot in B+W on our Ampex VTR.
Veronica was a very petite lady. She acted with Alan Ladd in the great must see film "noir" "The Glass Key"....it was one of the few matching ladies available for Mr. Ladd who was not taller than him. Great movie. Great actors. Veronica was beautifull.

To the person who put this piece together. The pic are wonderful and the music is from heaven. Veronica would be pleased with this, bad teeth and all. At the end of her life, she worked as a bartender in a run down NYC hotel. Brando heard and sent her a check for a thousand. She never cashed it and died broke at age 50.

isn't she the one who killed her self?? she was dating a married man n thought he would leave his wife but he didn't, soon after she committed suicide, he left the country w/his wife. sad ending for her.
