I just returned for a 9-day trip to Fort Wilderness, and it was an amazing experience! I had to enjoy the old cabins one last time and also toured the new cabins. While they lack the rustic charm, I think these new cabins will attract more DVC members to the resort. My biggest complaint about the new cabins was a lack of washer and dryer, and I met many other guests who felt the same way. It would have gone a long way with current Fort Wilderness lovers, and it’s an easy addition. As a Poly owner, I’m used to deluxe, but there’s something special about enjoying a golf cart ride, drinking some moonshine drinks by the water, seeing Hoop De Doo, and being able to enjoy time with your dog. I will not own there (dues are crazy expensive), but I will definitely book at the 7-month window or with cash. If you’re hesitant about this resort, give it a shot even for a weekend or split stay. I promise you will not regret it!
Looks even better in person! The upper windows make it feel spacious and the theming is great! We stayed last night and wife wants to make it a yearly weekend :-)
It looks terrific! I was not a fan of the initial artist renderings as I didn't think it looked rustic enough, but this captures that feeling perfectly. Love all the artwork. Can't wait to hear what you guys think & am looking forward to the livestream tomorrow. Enjoy!

they look very nice but have to admit-I like the more rustic look. That was the draw of the old cabins. If I want something this nice, I would probably just stay at a different resort

Why's the bathroom so far away? I see 3 broken toes trying to get to it at 3 a.m.😂
Just doesn’t do it for me. If someone was waiting to buy here to physically see them, this won’t do it. This property will not sell and will be in constant usage from point rentals and owners at other resorts.
Is this categorized as a 1 Bedroom? and if so why no Washer & Dryer? You're paying through Points or Cash as a 1 Bedroom Deluxe Resort. Disney getting Cheap! Direct purchase Member since June 2000.
Point-wise these are much less expensive than other one bedroom options. I do wish there was a washer & dryer as well.
When they made the new “Cabins” (in quotations because I don’t think they look like Cabins at all) they should have made them bigger being apart of the DVC.
These new rectangular club houses are not for us.

I know a cabin when I see one and this isn’t it. The kitchen looks like an IKEA display.
While I have 0 interest in staying there, they do look nice!
