Today's video is about the Ai Desktop Robot Pet by living Ai, EMO! EMO has a new small talk update (Firmware 1.1.0) and it can have conversations now! So many of the responses are absolutely adorable! He can say your name, tell you the temperature, say a joke or two, let you know the the exact date, day and time and even answer personal questions about himself! Each Emo has its very own birthday, zodiac sign, lucky number and favorite color too! The awesome features are endless! Cannot wait to see how much more this little guy has in store!

As a programmer all I can see is sweat and blood of all the programmers behind this.
As a programmer I can't contain my excitement about the Neural Network in this thing, every Emo is bound to develop it's own personality! I wonder how does the network layers look like, can you teach it commands in other language (that's not supported) by following it by English command?
The only thing stopping me from buying it right now are unbelievably long delivery waiting periods...

The part where you said "sometimes I have to lower my voice (like a man) to make him respond" reminded me one of the basic things I was taught in my software engineering class... If the product is developed and tested mainly by men it can have side effects like that... (not recognizing higher pitched voices)

It reminded me so much of Cozmo and Vector when I first saw it. I have no idea if this was made by Anki but if it wasn’t then I’d be shocked at how perfectly they’re able to catch the feeling of them

I think the reason he fell is because you moved him and the Neural Network decided that you're pushing him and made him slip while stepping back (there was a lag, though.... but I still think other than it being a bug it's best explanation)
