Afghan refugees in Italy prepare for resettlement

- The Italian military flew nearly 5,000 Afghans to Italy as the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.
Many of the refugees are still under quarantine and being processed ahead of being settled in communities across Italy.
They are nervous about starting over, and worried about family back home, but many feel they had no choice but to flee.
Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from the Red Cross camp for Afghan evacuees in Avezzano, Italy.

Yes,but why stop with all Afghans.Why not invite the many millions of unfortunates in the World to seek asylum in Italy.And the same goes for Great Britain...there is now an estimated population of 60.000,000......so it would be simple to invite another 60.000.000 unfortunates from Africa alone.
The hidden fact;
Most of the Afghans who came out of the land are mostly from the majority pashtuns, young men without their families.
They are not Pashtun I know most of them
In 2020, Afghanistan immigrants in Italy were 11.000 with 10.000 men and 1.000 women according to Italian census. In my opinion, some of those people are not Afghanistan people though, but Pakistan people who pretend to come from Afghanistan to have the political refugee status.

Afghanis should do what Haitians did in Mexico.
Italy should Let them stay in that land so they can create their own community and create economic development growth.
Make them repay for services rendered and shelter. Including taxes.
Teach them to adapt to Italian culture and customs.
Adapting to Italian culture means converting to Christianity especially Moderate Catholicism. Do you really believe that those people could do such a thing?

"Survival of the fittest " is the law in Afghanistan now. Some stayed on while others flee. Not in search of a greener pastures but only for survival. There is no " Home sweet home" to them now. Big thanks to the Italian Govt. for giving refuge to the poor Afghans. GOD BLESS ITALY.
Don't think that's the case. This is the most cohesive and united Afghanistan has been for ages. Except for one district entire Afghanistan has accepted taliban leadership And they are getting ready with an interim government consisting of taliban and ex afghan government ministers and officials.

Talibans who have portrayed their peace and friendliness towards all Afghans and others from few videos shared earlier which is very welcoming should put the effort to show and prove to the world that they are indeed peaceful and friendly in line with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by quickly attracting those refugees to return to Afghanistan.
Would you believe the Taliban with your life? These refugees just escaped from the lions den. You shouldn’t even think about returning them. That translates directly to having them killed = being a murder.
I hope they convert to Christianity and intgerate pretty well to Italian culture.

I just wanted to salute Italy 🇮🇹 for granting asylum to the “Afghan Girl” from the National Geographic Magazine cover. I can’t begin to imagine how bad life has turned for the female population of Afghanistan and I hold the entire United Nations 🇺🇳 responsible for their current plight. Im sorry for the females of Afghanistan and I hope the world powers that be will do something to help them.
