Awesome finds, my friend! Slayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shout At The Devil is so heavy! She’s got the looks that kill! Can’t go wrong with Phil Collins. Otis! Just played Dock Of The Bay live at a gig yesterday. Have a great week!!!!
Some solid pick ups for sure. I love Justin Moore so ill be on the lookout for that. As someone that loves country(all eras), a country music video be great!
Thanks man! So appreciate it. \m/ I was actually out in your neck of the woods this past week, but didn't have time to get away. Definitely got to set up some times this summer to hang again!
That 80’s Movie Hits Album looks cool! Might have to pick that up! We went to a Smashing Pumpkins concert last year and Stone Temple Pilots with Newest Singer was the opening act. I wasn’t too excited to see them without Scott but they were great live! I was very impressed with the band and new guy!
Jackie McLean's "It's Time" was one of the first albums that eased me into jazz. Such an easy to listen to enjoyable album. Those first two Motley Crue albums are undeniably good. The first is raw. The second is a little more polished and the writing is great. Every song on it is solid. I do not know any of their music after that. Always good to spend a little time with you Brandon. The vinyl wall is killer~ Rob/Boston
Ive been intrigued by that 80s soundtrack comp. So many good songs. Ive had a hard time with STP after their first couple of albums and especially post Wieland. I get that the band is more than the singer, but its hard.
Spot on Brandon: that Stax documentary on Max was excellent. I have Booker T's autobiography as well-a really good read. Wide array of stuff, a fan of those fun types of comps. Have a great weekend 😎🎶
It really was a cool Documentary. I actually met David Porter one time. Me and and few other guys had a chance to sit down and with him and must hear story after story after story. Truly magical :)
First time on channel. Will become a regular. Really enjoyed the album descriptions and enthusiastic recommendations. Have to check out that Justin Moore!
Mr. Yours Truly! Showing that Stone Temple Pilots album reminded me that I don't have that one, and that I need to put in for my comp copies of "Thank You" and their self-titled albums from 2010 and 2018, which should be on a future video sometime. Also don't forget about the Five Questions thread going around right now!
Adding albums that are so-so in order to complete a collection is a tough one. I err on completing the discography because it always bugs me that something is missing
Ha ha! I hear ya. I'm actually not a hard core completist. It really is just random bands here and there. The only two bands I'm even focused on completing right now is STP and R.E.M. :)
Oh wow!! Big Question there. A few off the top of my head.... Chris Stapleton- Halo, Either Way, Tennesse Whiskey, White Horse (Chris is great intro to country because he has a very motown/soulful flavor to his music). Tim McGraw- Don't Take The Girl, Live Like You Were Dying, It's Your Love. Tell you what, maybe I'll make a video for this question :)

I agree. Those first two Crue albums were Killer. I think Dr. Feelgood fit in well with those two as well. Great stuff.
Blinded by the light is a great movie and soundtrack you did a fantastic job describing it.
Thanks brotha! \m/

I totally agree. There were certainly a significant change after his passing for sure. I mean Core is still my #1 Grunge era album over ALL!!1 \m/

@@mrhoffame Wow-fantastic!
I have many on cd. From what I've seen new vinyl is priced at $30 - $50 an album. I refuse to pay that kind of money.

Wait, which 5 question Thread? I've been on vacation so might have missed it lol.
@@mrhoffame From @TheSpiritofVinyl it was like 5 questions that you'll def have fun with!

At Wal-Mart actually lol.
What’s some of your favorite newer country songs. I don’t like country but peoepel at work so and I’m trying to build a playlist

@@mrhoffame you should probably leave I think is the greatest country song ever. I only really like Chris Stapleton. Music sounds real not fake
Brandon do you have any "foreign language" music? if you do can you do a video on it?
I don't really have ton of that. Mainly a few African pieces, but not much at all.
@@mrhoffame would you be interested in any foreign language VCLT?
