This is inaccurate. What your showing is just gestures instead of showing the real vocabulary that should be taught. Asl should be known as a language that has its own vocabulary, grammar and structure not as gestures or charades.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking-yes/no are with your hand - why would he do this?

Well, that’s interesting, disappointing and terribly misleading.

You’re wrong on many of your signs. You’re gesturing not using sign language for a significant number of your so-called signs

Hello! This video is teaching gestures as a beginning lesson for those who are just learning to sign. Gesturing is important for basic communication when you don't know how to sign yet. Dr. Byron Bridges teaches ASL signs in later lessons within our course. This video is called Gesturing because it is not signs. There is no wrong way to gesture because it is not sign language.

These are 80% incorrect and should be removed. I am appalled that a site claiming to teach asl would allow this

Also these lessons have helped me communicate with a deaf client. Whether its proper or not it has worked to communicate so ether way just go cry somewhere else. Holy
