We are watching the finest Military Band in the world. No other Military Band can put on a show of this magnitude with every musician, drummer and Drum Major so precise and professional. Even when standing to attention they stand absolutely still ..... (something so simple but something no other Band seems capable of doing) ? The quality of the music is exceptional and the display on Horse Guards is beyond belief. Well Done the Band of HM Royal Marines.
What a sweet gig! Dress in your RM finery, get your swag on and commandeer any through-way with that glorious sound. What we have here in the US is no better than a high school marching band wearing military uniforms. The contrast couldn't be more stark. It's embarrassing!
It's not embarrassing, you guys have a go. This is the best military band in the world. I've seen the US marines band play with these guys and they had a good go,. They looked a bit intimidated, but they had a bash.
@@MegaVector2011 I wish I could share those sentiments, but British military ands are far superior to anything the US could muster. Out military has become a caricature of its former self, filled with narcissistic, incompetent clowns more concerned about pronoun use than defending the nation from the growing, global threat on many fronts. I'm more than qualified to speak about the demise of the US military, having served on active-duty in the US Navy for nine years. Its disintegration into irrelevance since I discharged in '95 has been painful to witness.

Spiffing video!
The marches & Drum Solo played were,
1) 4:42-Silver Bugles
(Drum Solo 7:59-Illawalla)
2) 11:09-Wellington
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Band and Bugles of the Rifles play Silver Bugles as well?
@@stevenlee_1 yes they do!! Often the marines play bugle marches at the usual pace rather than the light division speed.
@@stevenlee_1 Yes they do, although they play it at 140 paces a minute.
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Quite interesting hearing it at "regular march tempo" when I'm more used to hearing it at 140 haha
@@stevenlee_1 It is, I find it interesting how all three services share marches occasionally!
Ordem unida com música. Quando eu era Cadete, não era fã... Mas o tempo ensina muito.
Lovely job as always by the Royal Marines!
It's nice to see proper marching. Not one person out of step. Brilliant lads!

What is the name of the first march they playing?
3:12 What is the name of the object that they are holding in their hands please?
Drum major Mace
@@derekonxbox in the RMBS it's called a staff, not a mace. Ironically, the Corps DM's surname is Mace ;)
Nombre de la primera marcha
Wonder why during the drum solos the bass drum plays all the way through, but not in the marches. Well done anyway
Why so many short soldiers?
Bob Pendleberry, because a lot of the bandsmen are bandsWOMEN.
Who is the gentleman in white shirt. He is at the front of every March.
DM J. Horner
What is his position with RM.?

Why isn’t he in uniform like the other 5?
Stand by your beds with the famous Royals.

There is only one band that can play silver bugles. And it's not the royals this title goes to the light division best in the world
Which band provides the buglers for the last post at the cenotaph? Enough said.
Love the royal marines but not this one it is holy rong not silver bugles rong one I still RM
To much druming
Not enough drumming, there are no limits.
