@Zoltán Csutorás yeah it's about the Irish civil war or the 1916 rising. Our ancestors Irish fighting for our independence against the English. A man who was mamed in war by the name of James Connolly was tied up like a hog and killed because of his patronage to our country along with the rest of the people fighting for our independence. Grace is another song that i would love to see her do a cover of. Look it up it's by Joseph Plunket a man who was executed. It's a song for his wife he wrote days before he was executed.
You were obviously born out of time. I'm jealous of those who get to call you friend :P. Your song selection could've been taken straight from my mind and heart. And yes, the talent with which you deliver them is inspiring. You're something else. Special. You won't get any requests from me, you seem to be doing wonderful at choosing your songs. Yes, a gorgeous composition, I remember back in 1996, they were sitting with friends on a bench in the courtyard, I played and the girl sang since I knew English, I just sang along to the chorus because I don’t know English.
