How do you get the assistant to display on the head unit. I bought a car and used Android Auto to see maps and such. Now it seems like a step back to the phone and away from the head unit.
I use a small tablet, not a phone for Android Auto on my dash. How's Driving Assistant going to replace that when I have no cellular data? Very disappointing to see Android Auto for devices phased out.
No, you will be able to use your car stereo, but the other app, Android Auto for Phone Screen had been Replaced by Google Maps Driving Mode, but still you can use android auto app and plug in your phone to stereo and there's your android auto on your cars display

This fucking piece of shit sucks and constantly turns off and locks the fucking screen, causing me to have to unlock my screen constantly while driving which is VERY DANGEROUS, (especially since I have a pattern because there is no fucking way I am giving these fucking retarded evil CUNTS my biometric data, even worse these fucking retards made it so there is no landscape mode and my phone mount is landscape only so I have to tilt my head sideways and try and figure out my lock pattern rotated at 90 degrees WHILE FUCKNIG DRIVING!), there are no fucking music controls, there are no controls for anything just a bunch of retarded bullshit suggestions nobody gives a fuck about while fucking driving and the fucking thing will not rotate to landscape , everyone at Google deserves to be lined up against the wall and fucking shot.
