I used to watch movies for free on television back in the 90s. I was born in the mid eighties. I miss the 90s dearly. I would switch this crap era for the 90s in a heartbeat.

A mediocre cops-n-robbers, good guys/ bad guys caper, but lifted up into the stratosphere by the two magnificent leads Renfro and Sarandon. Highly recommended.

I don't know how true this is but from what I read there's speculation that he wasn't protected and safeguarded as child actors should be and the implication was he may have been abused apparently at the age of 12 or 13 he was recieving fan mail with sexual content but I don't know if its true the article I read just implied it they didn't say it outright.
Am fairly new to Mr Grisham's novels and what strikes me about them above all is the satire. They are legal thrillers with a strong dose of 'Blackadder' humour and I laughed a lot while reading 'The Client'. The film misses that unique Grisham element altogether.

I just read the novel about two years ago and it was amazing.. didn't even know there was a movie..this is definitely a must watch...
