    I just got my port this week. The IR docs/providers would not give me flushing instructions for home or for infusion and I have been losing my mind. My infusion is in a few minutes. This has been the most helpful and straightforward video I’ve seen yet. I could cry. Thank you!!

    But after see your this video
    I inserted first time
    I had Idea only remove needle

    You say inject “pretty forcefully” but how do you know how much force before the device fails since the manufacturers state that too much injection pressure, especially from smaller needles can damage the port?

    What about the powerport that does not have that rubber middle and is hard all over???

      All implanted ports should have some type of septum where you can insert a non-coring needle.
