Beginning of the video shows the engine idle speed to be kind of high, around 1,500 RPM if I'm not wrong.

Good catch, it would have been for sure. Cold start it idles around there and when warm (the rest of the idle shots in the video) it idles around 1100 RPM.

To me the OEM or stock exhaust sounded better on the Yamaha Super Tenere.

How much was this system, and did you have to do any tuning for it? Was it a true slip on?

Depending where you buy from the exhaust is around the $350-$400 mark. Installing the slip-on was as simple as removing the cover, a hanger bolt and the clamp from the header/mid-pipe (see 1:07 onward in the video). Although tuning isn't required I imaging the bike is leaving something on the table without it as the Tenere is tuned conservatively from the factory already. It's a quality product and easy installation, you'll love it on your bike.

in this video, you have the db-killer in the exhaust? or out?

You can purchase this exhaust with a turn-down dB killer, this bike does not have that installed.

Sexy, I enjoy mine. I did see that you trimmed your stock exhaust cover. I need to do that but i do not have those decals to follow. Great video and good angles.

    this exhaust is legal?

I can't speak for everywhere but it's CARB compliant and the Yamaha dealer near me sells them with new bikes as an option.
From the instructions: Yoshimura warrants that this exhaust system, at time of sale, meets all applicable U.S. E.P.A. Federal noise standards.

I always go write in there comments "Thanks Idiot" lol. Plus I wear headphones while Im watching these videos and when these idiots do there Recordings the wrong way like that, they almost blow somebodys ears out from all the bass that the sound wave puts off!!! I make music and Ill tell ya.... there doing it all wrong!! And NO Im not saying you need to go out and get a gorgeous $500+ Microphone!! Its just your placement of the Recorder and where the Bikes at, know what Im saying?! Like this Video we watched here was perfect and not all up Exaust fucking the Bike!! jeezzz.... I haven't added anything other than the slip-on, that might be the next step with a proper tune on the dyno to see if any more power can be extracted. Bike runs fine and I haven't noticed any ill-effects from just the slip-on only though.
