I must say i do like k rool’s voices, and i also do like those enhanced boss fights in this version, i wish rare ware did get more time to make the snes version more better,but they eventually did run out of time so they kept those extra ideas into it’s sequels or ports of this game.
Wow, they made crap bosses into actually good bosses!
And people say this version is inferior.
Inferior by it's appearance, sounds and music, but the gameplay seems to be improved.

@@mammuthusprimigenius1658 the death screen is very bad in GBA. in SNES, is sad(idiot people said is creepy) but in GBA is a bad rip-off.
I'd say only Queen B. was improoved enough to be a good boss, the rest are still crap, but at least they tried

I've always preferred this version of the boss fights. Just slap the SNES graphics, sound and music and you'd have the best of both versions.
I wish that would happen.
Eventrough i prefer the snes ,but i must say that i do like those extra touches heere & there in the gba version(apart from it’s overbrighted colors and in many cases wrong used instruments in the music),,, now i wish those extras were put into the snes version,but they did run out of memory space,hardware restrictions and time to do so.
I prefer the gba music honestly
I think the GBC one also had some exclusive content.
@@austinreed7343 the first game gets a scrapbook that can be fillied out by finding some foto’s either hidden in stages or by completing other objectives. It also has a couple minigames and even a score attack mode. The second game got a extra boss and the third even got a whole new world
They really messed around with the boss mechanics but I do like the concept of fighting master neckies normal and senior at once
Even Cranky (the developers) are self aware that the bosses they made years ago suck and were uninspired

Ah, I remember that comment...... truth be told, I was actually meaning the extra bosses only in the GBA remakes of the series. Still, as always, good job.
I remember the first time I defeated King K, I got a bit scared that I didn’t defeat him yet when he came back up lol

Eh. The boss battles may have been more harder in the GBA version, but the music in the SNES version made it feel more epic.
Jairo Espinoza Meh honestly the original bosses were harder the gba bosses just last longer but like for example very gnawty in the original jumped so fast and far and queen b moved fast asf in the original in the gba it seems slowed down.

@@pedroaraujo9195 im too high to explain this shit ngl but i just watched both of them for reference and the gba version just tries to drag it out longer but theres ways to make the gba boss way easier like throwing the barrel early to kill like 3 bees w one barrel granted im ngl the snes version isnt that difficult but like if ur not used to pplaying dkc the bee moves pretty erratically and fast in the snes version, you can easily get hit by it if youre not used to playing, especially if it flies down when u reach the corner then ur automatically gonna get hit
@@10colej im not saying that the gba version is the hardest boss ever made but is still harder. In snes is fast but you have to do the same movement every time to dodge and with only 5 hits you kill her. In the gba the fight is way longer and you have to throw the barrel more times to kill the small zingers. The other bosses still sucks, but the queen b in my first playtrhoug in the gba version was realy annoying
@@pedroaraujo9195 well its a subjective experience at the end of the day everyones gonna think one boss is more difficult than the other and vice versa. but like also in the gba version the bee moves slower not by a lot but you can definitely tell it is slowed down a bit making it easier to dodge it but honestly i can give you some slack on the 4th attack the one where the bee flies out really far that could easily hit u that u cant see well at first, but other than that i dont really see the difficulties in the gba boss its just repetitive patterns of bee walls that are easily destroyed with barrels then you have to throw one at the bee who doesnt move nearly as crazy and out of place as the original snes. Also did u possibly miss what i said about when the bees start coming out you can throw a barrel early at all of them and kill like 3 of them at once i think so like the bees surrounding them arent that hard except the 4th attack is definitely tricky ill give u that but thats not enough to justify what ur saying.

Out of curiosity, was the Master Necky Sr. battle deliberately done to show off the lone Master Necky sequence? I ask because it's more or less designed to be done in 10 cycles, but can be done in 9.

If You pause at 1:14 you'll see how the eyelids (or maybe the eyebrows) are getting loose from Master necky's body conections and then return to their place, this doesn't make sense
Or MAYBE this is supposed to be cartoony, even with all of these realistic graphics. After all, it still is a game about controllimg 2 monkeys and getting back a hoard of bananas from some mutant reptiles, birds, roditors and bees
