Likely foot was on the line. However, I like how Lamar had taken the team down the field in crunch time and almost sent it to overtime. Plus 122 yards rushing and avoiding sacks. Where was Devontez Walker? Agholar getting up there in years. Harbaugh was the usual once again.
I was surprised by Lamar too because he usually doesn't do good when pressured with little time left. We would have been tied if it wasn't for Likely toe.

The toe thing will be talked about ad nausium, but the two plays before sum up Lamar Jackson in the big moments. Wide open Likely in the end zone: Overthrow. Wide open Flowers in the end zone: even worse overthrow. He had 2 chances to win it before the toe, and HE, not his receivers, screwed up.

Chiefs really dominated early. The Ravens were lucky there were four Chiefs drive-killing drops (three in the Red Zone) that would have sent the score far out of reach by NFL standards. So, the whole toe thing is silly because you can add a minimum of 14 points to the Chiefs final score and the whole toe-thing is moot. The drops kept this game close, not the Ravens.

What about the almost interception saved by rice in the endzone, bailing out mahomes, and the hold that should have cost them their second touchdown drive that wasn't called? of course all of these things are what-ifs. However, all that matters is how the game ends, nothing else in between. The reality is that the game ended with a failed catch in-bounds and so that is why that play is talked about. The other things are irrelevant when it comes to this discussion.
The top 2 QBs going toe to toe. It was an awesome game.

Lamar has been avoided big hits for 7 yrs, its the first game and he wanted to beat the chiefs bad...he wil get back to what hes been doin the first 7yrs of his career until late in the season/playoffs

For what Likely said, this wasn't our best game either. We were missing Brown, who is supposed to be our #1 WR and Rice/Worthy were pretty much already open all game. We'll be better as well if we play again.

@theurbanboy7622 you only scramble on pass plays, unless it's an RPO. So the OC called 16 run plays and 57 pass plays. That's crazy, and it's not gonna winning formula long-term. If the OC committed to running the ball, Lamar would not have to scramble so much. Call 25 runs and 48 passes, and even THAT BAD of a balanced call would be better.
