This is just one of THOSE songs. Like, you might not think about it for a while, but then you remember it again, and it’s such a great throwback. It sounds fresh every time I hear it.
It came up on a Spotify playlist my boyfriend was playing and I was like, “do I know this?” And then the chorus hit and I started singing along and was like OH I DO KNOW IT 😂😂😂
This track is like one of those ultimate dance floor hits. It doesn't age, it's fresh every time I hear it and everybody likes it. I don't even usually listen to this kind of music , but I say this is great and timeless.
Agreed, this isn't my kind of genre to listen much, I'm more of a R&B/Rap person. But man let me tell you, this song is GOLD. Cascada knew what she doing with it🔥
Did her management ever give her original material? This is not a diss towards her. She is a talented singer and when her songs came on in the club my ass was up on the floor but I honestly know her from the 'covers' that she's has done.
Cris Phaesant Yea, her albums “Original Me (2011)” and “Evacuate The Dancefloor (2009)” were completely original material. She said in interviews that the cover ideas come from the labels

I'm amazed at how well this video has held up. Nothing about this feels particularly dated, it's only the cinematography and the costumes that give it away. Got to be one of the best songs of the early 2000s.
Cascada will always be super loved by their supporters and under appreciated by main stream. And thank goodness for that. These songs bring so much nostalgia and joy.

Never has and never will a song evoke as much nostalgia as this one does. 10 year old me was so addicted to it that I just get slapped by nostalgia whenever I hear the first few notes.
I love the look that flashes across her face when she turns and looks right in the camera at 1:44! And she raises her eyebrows, as if saying ' look at all those crazy dancers having fun!' Very cute. Seems genuinely joyous. And then she looks to her left in the next second, which is also very cute
This beat still kills me. I still listen to Cascada and this song was the reason I started dancing hip hop; the dancers in this vid look like they are having so much fun that I wanted to join....Man, this song still sounds as good as it sounded when if first came out.
