In some cases the rim got damaged too. If a year has passed since your last tire check, I agree you should definitely check your tire pressure before next ride. The "deer" you thought you saw on the grounds of the insane asylum that night (Halloween night) were probably shape-shifting goblins. Herbivorous ones. Probably. 😈

I'm terrible when it comes to maintenance, I always forget to do the basic things. Hopefully, I remember tomorrow.
