John McVie is one of the most underrated bassists of all time. His playing here is melodic and skillful without getting in the way or overplaying. Great stuff ❤
Christine's music and songs kept FM afloat in part after the departure of Peter Green and the gradual departing of Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan. She and Bob Welch saved FM with their saccharine shift to an easier listening style of music, departing from the harder edged blues of the Green era. Though her songs charted poorly from 70 to 73 she was a solid musician and performer. She and Welch helped the band maintain a base of fans who still bought 200k records during their malaise period between the Green era and the Buckingham/Nicks era.
This was a sweet/sad Christine song originally recorded BEFORE the addition of Buckingham/Nicks. But this live version is SOOO much better with the addition of Lindsey's finger picking guitar & the great 3-way harmony at the end.
Personally, while this a great live version, I like the original version with Bob Weston's incredible guitar work on Christine's song. Don't get me wrong. Buckingham is a great guitarist too, so he's only covering it.
Christine McVie, your voice is simply beautiful and amazing. You are the original Songbird. No one can ever sing as beautiful as you. You are a legendary musician and artist. You are Fleetwood Mac. You are the backbone of the group. Love ❤️ you Christine McVie ❤️ 💖 💕
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to this song without breaking into tears at its sheer beauty, and the fact that Christine is no longer with us gives me even more reason to cry.
Buckingham's guitar style is such an important element to this bands progression. You can clearly see all the essential elements to a super group here just ready to explode.
To me, this IS Fleetwood Mac, lol. I knew that Stevie and Lindsey weren't the original members, but it's just not Fleetwood Mac without them or Christine.
What a band !! Loved them in the 70's in my teens and still love them. These songs have a lot of decades left in them and hopefully that lovely clear voice that Christine blessed us with will continue to win over those that can appreciate her. Love the guys as well for all that they brought to the music. Always reckoned Lindsay and John were underrated but glad that they were appreciated.
“Can’t stop listening to this one over & over. Incredible everything on this song. CM such a melodic songbird. Everyone misses you and the epic sound of FM playing together. RIP CM…
This is just as good or better than the “audio upgrade” which may just be the LIVE from Burbank recording (which is my favorite version) But this one is in perfect synch naturally. I just love this song by Christine! And their harmonies and Lindsey’s guitar!
I wish this was released by this lineup. The original recording is lovely but there was just something so magical when Lindsay and Stevie joined the band.
So weird hearing this song from this lineup. Lindsey playing phrases from the future Never Going Back Again on a song from before they were in the band. And the three part harmonies. Wow. Good times.
Absolutely. I think this version does a disservice to the original version of the song and to Christine, whose voice is so clear and strong that it doesn't need reinforcement with vocals from less accomplished singers.
I believe this was the closer on Fleetwood Mac's 1973 Mystery To Me album from their great Bob Welch era, which also includes such fantastic tracks as Hypnotized and Miles Away, and it's such a beautiful song.
Honestly, the most beautiful song ever. Thanks you Christie for delivering this to the world. ❤😢😊
RIP Christine McVie. Thank you for gifting the world with your beautiful music.

This sounds as good as any of FM's better known songs, and could've been a hit under the right circumstances.
I agree one hundred percent.

Me as well, its gorgeous @nickcastillo738
Insane how good this is. Hard to do anything else while listening.
Ahh.....the memories of the 70's are so special to me. The music was the best and here I am now 70 still listening to it. Simply mesmerizing.

Amigo no es así, la versión original es por mucho mejor ❤ lo que me gusta de esta es el solo del bajo.
@@nehuensparrow De acuerdo.

Those 3 voices together were magical.

Christine (RIP) is just lovely. What beautiful harmony from all three. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
One of Christine's best ever songs. Beautiful performance.
Buckingham's guitar style is such an important element to this bands progression. You can clearly see all the essential elements to a super group here just ready to explode.
His fingernail down-stroke is unique.
It’s as if he’s a banjo player and someone sticks a guitar in his hands
When the 3 of them are singing together it's just beautiful. This song should have been a hit.
one of my favourite post-Peter Green Fleetwood Mac songs
To me, this IS Fleetwood Mac, lol. I knew that Stevie and Lindsey weren't the original members, but it's just not Fleetwood Mac without them or Christine.

Why, Rhiannon, Over My Head & World Turning were filmed in Burbank on 1/26/76 for later broadcast.
Definitely one of the greatest bands in history
One of my favorite Christine McVie songs. I've cried to this a million times 😢
What a band !!
Loved them in the 70's in my teens and still love them.

Wow!! this amazing performance shows the band in its absolute prime, the incredible harmonies and interplay between Buckingham and McVie is brilliant.
Christine sings like angel and Lindseys guitar solo is so warm. And than sings all three.... Haven.
Should've been a single release. truly epic version
...at about 2:26 the Trinity of Angels, join voices, and the magic is made!!!!
“Can’t stop listening to this one over & over. Incredible everything on this song. CM such a melodic songbird. Everyone misses you and the epic sound of FM playing together. RIP CM…
absolutely gorgeous track. incredible harmonies and that bass line..... dam what a group
What a fantastic song. Beautiful. So much turmoil and broken hearts in this band and luckily for us they stuck it out.
Not only were the vocals and the lyrics beautiful, but the music is hauntingly beautiful!
So touching... 🕊
Thank you for sharing! 💖
What a beautiful song...Christine McVie...simply beautiful.....great channel...greetings from Pereira Colombia
Christine McVie

Christine what a jewel rip😢
Such a beautifully heartbreaking song
Just beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Wow. Just. Wow…..For so many reasons🥹❤️
Such a sad and beautiful song.
Superb audio and video recording, fantastic concert of FM in their prime!
great & underappreciated song 👍
She was a rare treasure
We miss you, Chris! 🕊
Love you Christine.🤍
DAAAAAAM, that's sooooooo good.
Stellar Thank You Christine❤
Love Christine so missed
Absolute perfection. Thank you. 🙏🏻
love seeing this version of FM playing this, wish they had of done it later in career
Yeah great performance here folks... Buckingham and Knopfler are 2 if the best finger pickers you'll find in the classic rock scene
Beautiful song
Them ❤
A legendary performance, so happy that it is finally here in an official capacity
Great song from the Bob Welch years!
What a treat!
Christine said Lindsey added this song by his guitar work and voice.
For the Homeless.. Much Love ❤️

this is why I write songs on you tube
My god that is beautiful 😢
this proves why money cant buy me love
Magical
I wish this was released by this lineup. The original recording is lovely but there was just something so magical when Lindsay and Stevie joined the band.
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
One of Christine’s forgotten masterpieces from the Bob Welch era
So weird hearing this song from this lineup. Lindsey playing phrases from the future Never Going Back Again on a song from before they were in the band. And the three part harmonies. Wow. Good times.
RIP Ms. Perfect...
Everything embrace incredible sincerity 💗☮️
You guys are so full of BS. Gottcha! What's up? Thank you for your comment.
Me hubiera encantando que la tocaran en The Dance ❤
Christine was Perfect. RIP
Does anybody think that Christine looked like tennis player Chris Evert?
If you look at the very end the whole band sort of turns and looks at christine in awe.
My favorite song is Dust.
👏👏👏👏👏
❤
…and haven’t we all asked WHY at least once
Why of why did they let Nicks sing on this? Her caustic voice takes away the ethereal qualities of the original!
What about Andy Gibb on The Midnight Special from 1977 and 1980 show?
This is a much less popular song than their others and for the life of me I can’t figure out why. The studio track is even better.
Who the hell put about the homeless in great song back in the day of course we call them something else most do not want to work these days.
These Fleetwood Mac videos demonstrate how much better Christine was as a vocalist than Stevie
Absolutely. I think this version does a disservice to the original version of the song and to Christine, whose voice is so clear and strong that it doesn't need reinforcement with vocals from less accomplished singers.
So miss Christines voice.
I miss her so much!😢
@@tikneshiabeauford7289 listening to. Got a hold on me.
Lindsey Buckinghams finger picking always blows me away.
Not as good as the original
This is good, but nothing can top the original.
Lindsey ruined this song.
I believe this was the closer on Fleetwood Mac's 1973 Mystery To Me album from their great Bob Welch era, which also includes such fantastic tracks as Hypnotized and Miles Away, and it's such a beautiful song.
