Can’t believe he stuffed you like that in the inside right at the start of the turn. He was pretty much riding over the turtles to pass you like that !! Not great track day etiquette
i would not have been cool about that, that was beyond bad track etiquette, he went out of his way to perform that action, that was fucked, i would not have been able to keep my cool man, good on ya
Got away relatively lightly. A legend drove to Ten Take to pick up new clip ons and we made it back out in the afternoon thanks to help from mates. New leathers now though 👍
As a rider in Europe we have insurance for ourselves if we're in need of hospital treatment. For the bike and leathers I have none. The bike will now will have track fairing instead of the road trim.
@@simmonds58 I'm from Europe too... insurance is mandatory, although i never need it in track. Don't know if you will get covered in race track. I'm sure that the insurance guy could "cook" it to make it like a road accident. Nvm, your bike will look more aggressive with fiberglass fairing and lighter! Cheers buddy!
@@georgestam1710 You need to buy specific racing insurance which can be pretty expensive as you could imagine. I think you can buy it for a single day if you're just doing a track day here and there rather than doing full seasons of racing.

That sucks. I'm glad it worked out in the end.
That a shitty one. Glad you are ok.

@@simmonds58 great to hear that mate
We try not to do that in America.
If he ain't satisfying the damage, fetch a hammer and equal the situation;)
After first denying it he came through and contributed to bike, leathers and helmet 👍
@@simmonds58 Good:)
WTF? Aren't you protected by insurance or something? He acted like a total dumbass... glad you are ok buddy!
