@@THSLast and more importantly herring lost and got KO before and was getting his ass beat by Oquendo before the accidental headbut and he decided not to continue and didn’t want to face him in the rematch. Herring is good but no where close to even the early stage of shakur.

Joet Gonzalez and Christopher Diaz aren’t C level fighters. They are B level fighters especially how early he fought them. Take Covid out shakur was on pace to fight top guys and now this is his first time with another “A” type fighter even though I think herring a B type.

Shakur vs toka was the first fight with fans in the building and that was in December. But this herring fight will be the domino effect for shakur, this will trigger a unification fight vs Oscar that shakur been trying to fight for years but Oscar been ducking. They will also make tank vacate his belt and shakur vs Oscar will be for the WBC, WBO, and WBA interim belt.

U have to manage a fighter properly, he is not in his prime yet still learning, fans think these guys are ready but they are not they are not properly schooled as yet, that is why u see fighters who are supposed to be elite following a fighter around the ring instead of walking them down and cutting off the ring. 90% of fighters out there follow a fighter all over the ring instead of cutting it off, they lack the knowledge. 7 years is when a fighter is in his prime and should be ready for anyone. The time before that is one step up in competition to work on different things and practice what u Lear n in the gym. 3-4x times per year is how many times they should fight after mid 20’s in opponents u just enter ur prime and u should be fully schooled. These champs fighting for belt with 16 fight are forced ripe and tire out after 7 rounds, not fully schooled. We will see how things go for Mr. Lopez who is forced ripe.
