Thanks for this video. My first popup is less then a month away and I'm so nervous. I've been watching a bunch of videos and your 6 steps are right on target with what I've been hearing. I'm definitely using tip #1. Ppl forget about cash but have to remember, ppl still use cash (and I'm not turning down a sale because I don't want to accept cash. I want all the coins paper or plastic).
Yassss omg I’ve been to SEVERAL events and pop up shops where ppl don’t accept cash. And I’m like “oh no boo boo”. I’m trying to have all the payment options. Lol literally!!!! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!!! Please come back & tell me how it goes for you!!!

My cash box is an vendor apron with 5 pockets for cash, business card, calculator, pen and pad, etc

I’m glad you loved it!!!! Yes I know the struggle. That happened to my cousin at one of her pop up shops. I think we all underestimate how much work goes into prepping. It gets better!

So if I have a website and do a pop up shop ... now I have the cash and I checked my inventory list , do I go into Shopify and put each sale in ? And just manually put cash in business bank account??? Since I’m not shipping it and it’s already brought ??? What to do ??
Hey love! Let me do some research for you about the specifics of Shopify. I currently have a wix site. I am opening a new site on Shopify. On wix, I have it set up where I even process my cash transactions through my website to keep analytics in order.

I don’t have many products because I just started and I have my first pop up next month. How many of my products should I have out on the table? If I only put samples it’ll look like I have nothing. Thanks.
I would go with your top sellers. If you don’t have any too sellers yet, do some research about what people are really wanting right now in your specific industry.

Hello, I’m preparing for my very first vendor event. I truly appreciate your transparency of what you felt went wrong. GREAT idea for the raffle.
1. How much money would you suggest I should have for change? I was think $100 but I feel like that wouldn’t be enough.
2. How much quantity of your product did you have?
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! Transparency is super important to me. & Yes. $100 broken down. Get a lot of $1’s. And a good mix of 5’s & 10’s.

@@meccamusic8001 definitely! Yes I do them at the vendor event. I get email addresses and/or Instagram names. I announce it that night on social media. I either email or tag person in Instagram
